Look, Im just gonna be honest. Even with reading the auxillary chapter and other reviewers saying that it gets better X chapters later, I cant reccomend this one. The main point of contention with this one is the Mc. Guys seems to be a normal dude who gets isekaied via bike and shoved into a otome game before being essentialy emotionally lobotomized. I understand its because of said system but my honest question was why? Yes, you explained why it happened story-wise, but why was that character shift needed? Was it really neccessary to remove the original personality so early in the story and replace it with whatever Zombie's personality is, if you can call that a complete personality? Does that add anything to the story other then frustration and removing the voice of modern history from the story? If it was Zombie with little bits of the MC poking through every now and then, that would be acceptable. As soon as MC was killed the second time, he essentially just became another, less interesting character. If you had removed the isekai elements from the story and just had him as a basic mob in the original game, there would lose essentially nothing because for a otome game setting, there are almost no Otome game elements. You coul just call it a fantasy world and nobody would notice the diffrence. If it takes 50+ chapters to get somewhat interesting or for some development to happen, and I have to pay for the later part of those chapters, then this novel is not worth it at all. Nobody wants to buy a video game that only gets good 40hrs in. If you want someone to read your book or buy your game, then that 1st impression matters the most, and this book does not make a good one.
The beginning wasn't that great but after the story gets really interesting. I really liked how she didn't pretend to be a nice white lotuse type or an op get everything right Mary Sue type character. She's strong but not unbelievable strong and she's not the brightest but she's not a ditz either. Some of her ideas are kinda dumb but I don't really know how old she is so she could still be in middle school which would make sense for most of the characters here and the whole body hasn't developed thing. Overall I'm really enjoying it so far! Keep up the good work!
I'm revoking my 5 star review cause i found out that this is a copy paste of the MTL of the original novel who writer is Fridge that can refrigerate
i will give you 2 stars for posting this on webnovel and allowing me to find this great story

From the novel pic and name, i thought it was sao remastered at first and now im typing this to reach the word count and u just realised u wasted 2 seconds reading all this
Jack and his system is what could be categorized as an old and ancient cinnamon buns. There is only a few chapters as of current but I think it deserves some credit for writing a unique story in its genre.
The mc is wise and knowledgeable and it's interesting to have a person with the mind of a veteran appeared to act realistically because of the culture shock and not just a plain one dimensional character.
Although as of current the mc doesn't have a clear goal other than trying to survive with bruises and weak body(it's still around 12 chapter this review got written). It serve as a foundation of power development where Jack Armstrong could rise and be at his prime again.
The system have a lot of potential with how it's displayed. It's like an rng autogrowth in a roguelite, affected by many factor like environment, trait, aggressiveness, where the tentacle is given a random perk everytime its Mutagen has successfully created a mutated ability.
There is only few legit fighting action but that alone shows that the mc knows what he was doing although nervous because of the different logic in this world. So if you want some good action with reasonable mc, this book is for you.
Still fresh but there is no sign of murkiness, it's going to get clearer and clearer as the time goes on. Because there is not a single info dump given and that's good.
5/5, reccomended and still waiting for chapter
This will be an indepth review from me so stop if you don't want spoilers for first 15 chapters or so.

The world - It's interesting with the abyss and layers and I hope to see the author explore it more as more times goes on in the story. Maybe even come up with unique climatic conditions etc.
Grammer - Decent enough but with all I've read, it's a major inprovement. I didn't come to WN expecting perfect grammar and I didn't get it for most part. That being said, this is passable enough for me to not give up just from the grammer alone. It's rather fluid.
Characters - They're interesting but many of them were introduced and were saved for later. who knows when that later might come or whether they'll be explored again or not. (I hope they do since the author takes notes to include them in their other story and the side-story is interesting )
That being said, there is a little issue with the pacing being all over the place for me but nothing major. I like this story and would recommend you to check out the first few chapters to see if it's your cup of tea.
Amazing. This is great. Not many chapters, but I can already see the potential in this book. Can't wait for more chapters as Mian climbs up the ranks!
I am of course going to rate the book of my friends book high but not perfect. They have a lot to improve on and would like to hear feedback that is not just criticism but constructive criticism and advice.
Imma just a rate this five stars, if you want to know why just read the novel. Definitely isn't the best but it is good. [img=recommend][img=recommend]
Yeah the writting quality was not the best, but I liked it. While it did irritate me how often you messed up the he and her which really is annoying, but yolo. 20 chapters in and I like it. I recomend you get Grammerly to help.
