Wait a minute! What's with this tags?! Is there R-18 scenes in the novel? I thought it was just a novel like some other xianxia novels
Look for the Indra Scans page where new chapters are being uploaded
absolutely perfect
i mean the difference with the plot
The MC spent most of his time being chased, the kind of novels i hate the most. It's hard to find good novels nowadays,if i knew I'll would read the good ones in a slow pace.
Warning: The story's pace is dreadfully slow. Despite being thirteen chapters into the first narrative arc, we're still in the introductory phase. After twenty chapters, there's been no significant event to break the monotony.
Here's a brief summary of what's happened so far:
- A girl dies, sees floating clouds, gets chosen for body switching to help others, attempts transmigration, gets beaten up by antagonist's minions, visits a school doctor and faces ridicule, encounters various characters who insult her, tries to save a male lead, experiences abuse at home, falls for a side mission trap, and finally finds temporary happiness in cleaning her room.
However, the主角's resilience seems unrealistic given the trauma she's endured, like a concussion from a violent incident. She's also clueless in class despite gaining extensive knowledge about her new life, and despite being proficient in Taekwondo, she chooses to ignore lessons to avoid further embarrassment.
The narrative lacks any clear signs of plot armor, intelligence, or hidden strength from the protagonist. Her emotional responses feel fleeting, akin to a character from a game who instantly recovers from emotional turmoil.
I'm giving the book three stars for decent translations and acknowledging that my experience might not be representative of the norm. However, personally, I've decided to call it quits until the plot picks up.
"Super adorable! My heart melted after finishing this. There's minimal angst, save for a few chapters around the 90s, and loads of fluffy moments. However, be cautious, this book is heavily centered on basketball. If you're not a fan, you might find it boring. Fortunately, character development mostly unfolds during gameplay, which I found more engaging than a straight recount. The basketball action is excellently written, keeping me on the edge of my seat. Even the sports scenes were captivating, contrary to my initial expectations.
Characters-wise, they're generally likable. I appreciated how their growth extended beyond the main couple to their teammates and rivals too. But the story does revolve around our two leads quite a bit, with plenty of cute and romantic moments. Side characters felt a bit underdeveloped at times, serving mainly to push the plot forward. The MC has a slightly foolish charm, acting like an innocent lamb, and I couldn't help but want to pinch his cheeks. The ML is dominant, not my usual preference, but his affection for the MC is evident, and he's quite charming. The only issue I have is a brief instance of non-consensual behavior, which is not fully addressed – that's my major critique. Fortunately, it's a rare occurrence.
As for the steamy scenes, this isn't the place for them; it's mostly passionate kisses. But the sweetness in other scenes compensates. Overall, it's not a masterpiece, but it provided enjoyable reading. I had a pleasant surprise by how much I liked it. It's got enough fluff and thrilling basketball to satisfy, making it a perfect casual read. I'm definitely looking forward to the translated version, and I'd definitely recommend it and read it again."
I read this years ago. The plots fine but after having read astral pets, this one is a bit on the meh side. It is kind of like coiling dragon and astral pets had a baby and this popped out. That baby unfortunately isn't as good as its parents but still a decent read.
That PTSD is hitting hard bro.
i came...i read... i record
Just finished at chapter 310.
Overall, pretty good, however after a while mc gets nerfed and progress becomes quite slow.
Still, it was quite entertaining, 4/5.
well there are some pages were the illustrations existed but mostly they are missing idk why.....maybe they gone lazy HAHAHAHA
