Chap 819. Dunno how long I can keep reading this tbh. First off, the author only knows how to progress the story through constant conflict. MC cannot setle somewhere for 5 mins without offending at least one major power for ridiculous reasons. Its never ending tension so theres rarely time to just breathe. This is made worse by an MC that is ignorant of the world around him and just plain reckless. Then the author decides to hamstring his strength and growth speed even more. Not to mention the 'nemesis' that just went evil for plot sake. Its just tiring and not very enjoyable to me

I see why many people don't find this work to be their cup of tea, however after looking at the negative comments vs actually reading the novel; I find that from another perspective all those negative comments ignore the positives of what they're complaining about.
In my opinion with regards to the premise of the book, our mc was pretty OP but also forced to be ignorant by his "comrades" before his rebirth, leading to his death and descent into madness and vengeance, however seeing his redemption as one of pure hatred slowly become a human being is what makes this novel so loveable to me. His story is so alien yet so human and to a far less intense degree something that we can all relate to.
I wholeheartedly recommend this flawed yet brilliant masterpiece to all those looking through the comments.

I can handle some naive MC like lacking common sense or something ... but i hope the MC won't be like the Shy, Stuttering, Timid, Nervous, Indecisive kind of character. I can't handle those!!
This novel is not even worthy of being called junk food; it's straight trash. It's another reminder of why OP system-type novels are terrible. The main character is stupid, the side characters are dense, the world-building is poor, the pacing is even worse, and the "comedy" isn't funny; it just feels like I'm watching Amy Schumer's horrific stand-up. The glazing on this novel needs to be studied
If its cultivation you seek the I can recommend 'The Innkeaper' and 'Eternal Cultivation of alchemy'. And for pure martial art there is 'Martial Unity'
If the genre can be broader then 'the Primal Hunter' and 'Genious Warlock' and 'Deep sea embers' are also good.
These are all top tier in world building and you can find them in this site.

Although I'm not one to criticize the lesser points of the novels I read this has been one of the most unoriginal yet. Creating through blatant copying of the myths and lore of other artists, writing is not something done on a whim! It requires thought, time and creativity. The greatest selling novels are not ones that are simply made on impulse. The lack of flow within the story is evident throughout, situations and logic unexplained with the author blatantly telling us "Just go with the flow!". Completely moronic!
I do have to say that though the translating team have strange tastes in picking this novel it is without a doubt they are patient, and I do sincerely hope they are trying their best as well. For even though the essence may not be good without the proper execution of translation it would still be sh*t without a doubt.
That is why I regret to end this review with a low evaluation. All novels have much potential, but a novel made just for fame or money is also a novel made without love or respect for one's own work.
