Genuinly good cultivation story. The game elements are almost not there. Its like MC has reality and extra life in paralel universe where he can respawn after death and learn how to cultivate in reality.I read the novel to the evd in raws and it was good untill last chapter but... I did not realize it was last chapter untill I read authors finishing words. For me it felt like novel was cut off on 3/4 and left unfinished.

Action packed fights, intense training scenes, and interesting cultivation methods, are all things you won't find in this story. The translation itself is a slog to read through, partially due to the overly flowery language and content of the source material. So far 47 ch in, there has been many more pgs dedicated to poetry that doesn't translate well, or at least hasn't been, than pgs of fighting, cultivating, and learning combined. I feel like author is trying to show off how cultured he is. The fights are very bland as far as I can interpret from the confusing translation. Mc suddenly get good at techniques without any on screen training or exploration of the technique itself. This does have some potential, Mc is interestingat least, but potential was squandered by poor translating and writing.
The novel has potential but it's ultimately ruined by the poor translation and the MC. You could put a bit more effort on the grammar and the MC's character. The story is also quite unique with the MC having all the characteristics almost anyone would hate ???I also don't know if it's because of the translation or not but the naming sense is simply terrible. In short, I hope this novel could do a bit more improvement or it'll just be a big pity.
Truly a hidden gem, I'm only 150 chapters in, but the writing is much more like an actual story as opposed to a broken record of a tween dream that other cultivator novels are.
I'm very upset because of the translation quality. It seems the translator never read this novel before. This novel is filled with wisdom, tactics and plots, and there are many foreshadowings of important events at the beginning of the novel, but the translator knew nothing about them and gave wrong translation. Translator even translated "地榜" into "local ranking
If you want to describe this novel in a word it would be FUNNY!It's very well writen, the beggining is quite cliche but afterwards it walks an individual path (of glory), the system and the battles are good, the world building isn't perfect but it's very solid and has potential. The characters are one of it's strongest points, they aren't 1d but have personality and they are unique.Something uncommon is that it's not a pure Xuanhuan story( at least in the first couple hundred chapters) but also involves strategy and politics, but not too much to make it boring, the author does a superb job keeping a good balance.The translation quality isn't bad, it's just that the former one was better, but it's improving!
