This novel is one of the best xianxia I've ever read. the protagonist has practically no powers of appeal and grows by his own effort and talent, in addition he is not persecuted by the world as usual. highly recommend!!
this might be a nice break from all the killing and death and stuff.
I would love for this to be updated.
MXTX novels are fantastic, and "Heaven Official's Blessing" is my number one novel, followed by "Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation." Not a fan of the Sc*mb*g Self-Serving System (not entirely sure about the name).
San lang waiting for Xie Lang for 800 years
Lan Zhan for Wei Ying 13 years later
They are waiting for their beloved I just can't??
This novel is too similar to Shadow Slave in my opinion, my little conspiracy theory is that the author stopped this novel and create a new one with another nick.
If you compare the current the abilities of the main character of shadow Slave and the plots with this one is too much similarities.
I will not talk more because I don't want to give spoilers, but omg if I'm wrong I don't care, I'm right.
Clearly R-18. Just look at those tag. . . My ghaaaad.
Anyway, is the translation really trashlation? Let me see for myself
Edit: So-so translation. A bit annoying as to how they call place "**", it makes your brain fail to recognize the phrase
Reading up to this point. I might or might not continue.
By Chapter 38, this novel remains quite laid-back. There's not too much drama, nor excessive fluff. It feels more like a teenage shoujo novel.
It's a good starting point for your reading journey, suitable for younger readers.
However, as someone who has been immersed in drama, melodrama, and fluff, I'm not the ideal audience for this novel.
This narrative offers a delightful departure from the norm. It ranks among the finest examples of slice-of-life literature I've come across. I wholeheartedly adored the protagonists. The pacing is impeccable, with each event unfolding seamlessly – neither too drawn out nor hasty. Reading this has genuinely brought me joy; it sparks a desire within me to experience love as beautifully as Du Yunyan and Gu Wenxin do. I sincerely wish them both continued health and happiness.
The "Incest Complex" is a compelling and thought-provoking read, weaving a complex tapestry of familial ties, psychological turmoil, and societal taboo. The protagonist's journey towards self-discovery is both haunting and relatable, as the blurred lines between love and forbidden desire keep readers on the edge of their seats. The author's nuanced exploration of human emotions adds depth to an intriguing narrative, making it a must-read for those who crave introspective storytelling.
Kinda late to the discussion.
I partly agree with you.
I use this site for convenience, UI, good working TTS and a community that is not as fake as Webnovel.
But the most important reason is that if I would read everything on Webnovel I would have to pay like 150€ a month.
The prices are just insane and an instant no go for me.
Sites like this kinda work like advertisment for some people. I'm being honest, if this site wouldn't exist I wouldn't even read most novels since it's so expensive on Webnovel. So they don't even lose money trough me since I would ignore them anyways.
Instead (sometimes) I find myself visiting other creators/translators websites and if they do a good job, donate some € to them.
Done so on multiple occasions and NetherClaw (The Admin) even adds some links below the novel description towards the support site or original page of the creator/translator. But only if they are unrelated to Webnovel.
We need some sort of subscription based service for Novels.
ThisNovel has 2000 plus chapters.
Probably one of the best novels I have read in cultivation, second only to IET novels. ????
Ikr... It is so disturbing all of a sudden "only" just pop up... And you can't not read it
