This was super cute, and the translation was excellent. Though I must point out—reveals bite marks—that little Corgis are actually baby sharks :)
The story absolutely captivated me. Despite some language barriers while reading the Machine Translation (MTL), the plot was emotionally profound, evoking tears from me. I wholeheartedly suggest this novel. It's a heartwarming, relatable tale that巧妙地 intertwines with an otherworldly theme.
If you don't like something on the internet it is better to avoid it. Reverse harems are innately fantasy for a reason. Maybe it was created to stick it to the patriarchy, or maybe someone decided that they would want to see that hentai about a single girl getting f*ck*d by ten guys have some plot, or just because of horniness.
A reverse harem can make for an interesting story if done right. I read one that does it well. That should indicate how difficult it is to find one that doesn't focus on the s*x part and has a good plot.
But more importantly, it ain't for everyone. Refering back to my first paragraph, if you don't like it, avoid it. You don't have to sh*t on it because you aren't enough of a degenerate to enjoy it. Yes, I am calling myself a degenerate, no that doesn't mean you have the right to sh*t on me because you don't like what I like.
If it truly bothers you that much, then avoid me.
The plot armour goes heavy on this one

Normally, I don't really give books too much of a bad review, cuz I respect the hardwork the author put in writing it, but d*mn this novel is BAD. Dropped it at about c500 or so.
Like, there's way too many things wrong with this novel, and it ain't all about the harem. ?
All the previous reviews have eloquently conveyed it - this novel holds a special place in my favorites list. The narrative is enchanting, and the characters leave a lasting impression. You can't help but empathize with them and cheer them on. He Yan and Xiao Jue make the perfect couple; their chemistry is unmatched!
I absolutely adore the story and the protagonist's character; I'm completely smitten with it! ?
Sadly this was a drop. I won’t be rereading or reading when new chaps come out
