just binge read the whole thing. I love it and am very excited to read more. the story is smart and entertaining. the characters are well developed and fun to listen to. the story has good pacing from moment to moment, nothing jarring or disconnected. besides a couple grammar or sentence structure problems it's very well written. the world's creation is developed steadily throughout the chapters and I'm excited to learn more about the world in the future. the info dumps are minor and quick to read through which I really appreciate, they provide useful information in the moment and don't bog down the story with long history. I've enjoyed where the story is going so far and am looking forward to where it goes in the future! keep up the amazing work author! I will keep an eye out for new chapters.
I normally don't bother writing comments...But i can't stand a good novel being supressed due to some fu*king reasons ??But sincerely this is one of the best i read... I don't beat and brush....This one worth your time.(I can assure it)
If you've read the "Legendary Mechanic
One of my favourites. Desolate Era is a book where you can see the progress every chapter, be it cultivation, relationships, or something else. The beginning few chapters may be slow, but a foundation needs to be built for the action. Side characters are mostly dealt with, at some point or another.
If you want to read a book that constantly says “oh wow so strong” “how is that possible” “how did he do that” “can I be like that” then this book is for you this book sucks so bad
it's a novel that i really hate.. for the whole time i read chinese novels this is the only one. bad character progress. it seems the writer can't create a new villain. where the villain always escape death and return as level up enemy over and over again.. like someone kill your family and then when you have enough power for revenge suddenly your enemy got escape and comeback for another harassment.. and you have another level up and met with him but he got escape again and comeback for another harassment.. and again and again and again.. BORING NOVEL !! dont read it !!
At first I was frustrated with the MC as his dense with women character was carried over through all the years he was a simp. His revenge plot was trudging along even though you can tell the subtle changes in his personality. But like any other novel fair judgement is made only after the ending. I finished reading this satisfied on how everything turned out. His revenge revealed his growth as a person while giving the antagonist his just desserts. Overall a great read.

Okay so here's the thing about this novel — it keeps catching me off guard with how emotionally precise it is. The breakfast scene in Chapter 8 is a masterclass in showing family love through food. Mother Nie makes salted vegetable noodles, no oil, coarse flour with a bitter aftertaste, and Nie Xiaoli eats it without complaint because he can finally go to school. Meanwhile nine-year-old Nie Honghua grumbles about it not being as fragrant as last night's dough soup and then declares she's going to become a head embroiderer at the biggest jewelry house in the Capital and earn three taels a month and make them all eat pig's head meat until they're sick of it. The family erupts in laughter. THREE TAELS A MONTH. This nine-year-old who is currently eating bitter flour noodles is already plotting her economic independence and her mother's response is to serve her an extra ladleful while jabbing her with a finger and saying she'll make her food so delicious it'll be dripping with oil. I am not okay. But what really got me was the quiet moment between Nie Qinghe and her cousin on the kang. Qinghe asks if her grandmother will force her cousin to return home, and the cousin just sighs and says what choice do we girls have? And Qinghe insists there's always a way as long as she wants it. That conversation is so heavy because you can feel the cousin's hope flickering to life after years of being treated like property. The original owner of this body felt suffocating guilt being a guest in someone else's home, but now Qinghe has found freedom and she wants that same freedom for her cousin. It's sisterhood as salvation and I cannot handle how tender that is.
...........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................The author jammed a hundred chapters worth of story development in 32 chapters? If you’re going to steal a novel, atleast do it with a bit tact???u200d♂️
just one and simple question...wheres the system?....
Usually i dont care if it's harem or not but in this story I hate the fact he except his wife to don't to other male but he introduce someone as a girlfriend the next day
