Hello everyone ...As this the first book I'm writing, I'll be very hopeful. I don't have much experience as a writer, but I hope I don't disappoint too much...I hope this book manages to capture your attention and keep it all the way...
very good writing quality that could be further enhanced by changing how you write his thoughts, world background much known but nothing bad presently, character design is very good just needs more depth.
The only thing the story doesn't fail at is grammar. The combat system is non sensical. The plot is full of routines. The cheat is boring and inconsistent. The mc doesn't even remember his skills. The economy is busted. The numbers of the novel don't make sense. He levels up to the se level repeatedly and learn skills with levels he don't have and aren't helpful.
.............................finally a good read
Let me just say—the river scene in Chapter 18 is one of the most vividly written sequences I've read in a while. You've got the misty river edge with a thin layer of ice forming, the cold atmosphere, the children running ahead shouting about catching fish. It feels like a movie scene. The author paints it without overdoing it, just enough detail to drop you right into it. And then there's the Liu family's house, which the author barely describes but somehow makes feel suffocating. You don't need to know what color the walls are when the father is throwing babies on the floor and two little girls are crouching by the window, one clamping the other's mouth shut. The horror is in what you DON'T see. The village chief's house is another great detail—bricks and tiles, a proper courtyard, clearly the richest home in the village. It immediately tells you about social hierarchy without any exposition dump. The chief's younger daughter-in-law bringing roasted peanuts for Su Muyao, the chief himself rushing out to greet them—these small gestures build a living, breathing community. I also loved the lunch scene—stir-fried wild boar meat, egg drop soup, and Su Muyao getting her own individual steamed egg. It's a small detail but it shows how much the family is treating her like royalty, and it contrasts sharply with the poverty that clearly exists in this village before their luck turned. The author has a gift for using food and domestic details to ground the story. Every meal, every hat, every fishing net feels real.
When is this book updated?
I think Daphne will turn out to be Holly's bio daughter & that's why Holly loved her over Tabitha. I think Mark saying he wished Tabitha was his daughter will turn out true & that's why he never really bonded with Daphne. I wonder if Justin will feel bad for trying to kill Tabitha & Daphne her mom.
Really liking the story . How many more chapters will the book have?
