There's genuinely nothing negative to criticize about this. The writing, characters, plot, and world-building are exceptional; it would be more challenging to pinpoint flaws rather than listing all the fantastic aspects – although I can't think of anything negative either!
Carlton (Main Lead, ML), initially portrayed as a jerk, undergoes a remarkable transformation. His initial behavior was unbearable, but he eventually改正 his character, making it almost unrecognizable from his earlier self. Watching him develop from a douchebag into someone who simp adorably for the MC is both surprising and charming.
Luisen (Main Character, MC) is likable due to his relatable yet unique personality. He's not a typical bumbling main character, and his quirks complement his elegant appearance. Despite his naivety and carelessness in his past life, we only learn about his past mistakes, as he has matured by the time the story starts. This makes for a more enjoyable connection with the transformed MC.
The plot occasionally veers off course, but these detours are purposeful choices by the author rather than poor planning. The interactions between ML and MC are hilarious, with the ML concocting a tragic backstory for the MC, which adds an amusing touch to their relationship.
What I appreciate is that the ML falls in love before the MC, breaking the typical trope of instant love. The progression of the ML's feelings feels genuine and not forced, evolving from disgust to sympathy, and finally affection. It's a well-developed arc that avoids superficial changes.
In summary, this is a fantastic read. There might be moments that are uncomfortable, but they serve the story's purpose, demonstrating thoughtful authorship. Overall, there's nothing genuinely "bad" about this work.
This is a lighthearted novel with an effortlessly carefree and amusing female lead. The romantic development starts off slow, yet it exudes sweetness. Misunderstandings are resolved effortlessly. The first part primarily revolves around the FL's adventures in variety shows and dramas, eliciting laughter from the reader almost chapter after chapter due to her hilarious antics. The second part shifts focus more onto the romance and the films she stars in.
As an avid fan of the "Detective Conan" series, I found "The Two-Faced Detective" a thrilling and engaging read. The narrative weaved a complex web of intrigue, leaving me on the edge of my seat with its clever plot twists. The protagonist's transformation from a young prodigy to a cunning detective was both captivating and thought-provoking. The author skillfully portrayed the duality within the character, making it a compelling exploration of identity and deception. Overall, a must-read for fans of mystery and psychological thrillers that keeps you guessing until the very end.
First 50 chapters were hard to make sense of after that it gets better. Also this author takes his sweet time to update the novel im on 4xx chapters in 2 and half years he barely uploaded like 300 chapters although he was writing other novel in that time. But imo story should be near the end probably 800 at max
Lina's logic is phenomenal ???, goshh sooo much drama. I think my stomach is gonna burst from all the drama
Short story but very heart-warming. No unnecessary drama between the female and male leads. Great if you don't know what to read or you need to recover after reading something very tragic.
when's the next update???????
I never read such a bad translation,
the romance is dogshit. basically just a plot device to give the mc descendants. he literally only accompanies his wife with a clone after a certain point and you only read about her once every 50 chapters in passing. the clones and main bodies have all got an interconnected consciousness, so technically they are all the same person at the same time, but the main body is strongest obviously. so basically the mc is a decent husband and father, but the story almost never mentions it past chapter 300
This for me is worth reading. I like the story and the world building. It is refreshing to read something other than the typical novel that we have today. Sometimes it gets boring but it's worth it for me.
Wow, this novel is amazing, my friend.
All this about souls makes me remember about this novel called the path of the soul.
