"I hate laps," Xiang puffed by his side. The mahogany haired boy was stretching his arms behind his head. His golden topaz eye was hidden beneath loose strands of his hair, leaving his chocolate brown eye exposed.
Eros said Lina: " Is he lying??".
'I need to get the hell out of here!'
I here these words and smile. I quietly take a step back to allow Honeto to open the door for me.
"Mei, do you got some news today?" Asked Henry.
Though he was no philosopher, he simply knew that this quote held very, very deep meaning, a meaning connected to the twins themselves.
JUST TO LET Y'ALL KNOW THAT I AIN'T DONE WITH THE STORY, I'VE JUST BEEN REALLY BUSY . BUH I'M GONNA COME BACK TO IT .❤Vixen?
Let me just say this: the author knows exactly how to control tension and I am HERE for it. The entire dinner scene is a masterclass in escalating conflict. It starts with Fu Lingyuan insulting Shen Shuli, she spits at him (iconic), then Fu Xijue tries to de-escalate, and then Zheng Zezhi just... won't stop. She keeps firing. Each question gets more invasive, more cruel, more inappropriate. The pacing is like a drumbeat getting faster and faster until—WHAM—table flip. The release of tension after that is so satisfying. But then the structure shifts completely. We go from this explosive, public confrontation to an intimate, quiet car ride where Fu Yanci finally reveals his backstory. This is where the pacing gets really interesting because the author could have just given us a quick summary, but instead we get the full, painful history: the mistress grandmother, the gouged eyes, the broken limbs, the torture. It's heavy and it slows the pace intentionally, making us sit with the horror of what Fu Yanci endured. This is deliberate narrative breathing room after the chaos of the dinner scene. Then—and I cannot stress this enough—the transition from backstory to... whatever happens next in the bedroom... to the nausea. The author builds this entire romantic moment, this warm fuzzy feeling after all that pain, and then BAM. Nausea. Pregnancy scare. The cliffhanger hits right at the moment of maximum emotional vulnerability and it is absolutely ruthless. I need the next chapter immediately. The pacing from chapter to chapter here is just... chef's kiss. Every scene transition feels purposeful, every shift in tone serves the story.
"Listen to this you two if the both of you go alone to the festival who knows what would happen when you wait for Satou-kun so in order to protect both of you at the same time it would be better if Satou-kun pick you up so there will be no problem there" Mina said
Herjar opened half of his eyes and looked at them with a -90 degree gaze. The assassins could feel that something bad has been provoked and they need to flee right now.
Yujia was ranked right before the cut off mark again.
A second, two seconds... five seconds, ten seconds later, the girl still looked at him weirdly, frieghtened at the person in front of her.
