Powerful MC with a unique system. There will be slight spoilers and these are the things I’ve gathered from 60 chapters.
How is the MC?
He seems a little shameless. But that may just be due to the fact that he can get stronger through being as lazy as possible. And he does get pretty strong in comparison to his peers. He’s a little thick-skinned when dealing with other people’s sh*t and has no qualms with doing something that other disapprove of.
Story?
Can’t go too much into that. But it seems to be progressing at a reasonable pace. Only one major change has happened so far. But I will say that the MC starts in a base with other children and one mysterious caretaker.
Concepts?
Similar to cultivation, the novel uses “Degree of Taoification” to represent realms, “Primordial Spirit” to represent amount of Qi (?), “Divine Map” to represent a cultivation technique I guess, and “Spark” to represent the energy in the world. The Spark is corrupted and can easily cause normal humans or cultivators to mutate. Those are the basic concepts, I won’t go into further detail.
The System?
The system allows the MC to generate laziness points by being lazy. He can use these points to increase his Degree of Taoification, Primordial Spirit, and points on his Divine Map. Other than that, the system doesn’t talk much at all.
Impressions?
I’m looking forward to when I can read more chapters. I’ve read a few of the other trial reads and this one is one of the better ones if not the best. I like the pace the story is progressing at and am enjoying his growth.
I think he is a great man who has 3been and I know that it 3was he would have to be a good guy to be with you and you know that you don't have a relationship with
Writing quality started off alright, then slowly came to sh!t. The grammar mistakes (lots of em) come at around chapter 40. At this point, the writing is not even a fraction as smooth as it had been when the story started. Can't say much about story development since I'm only up to chapter 58. All I can say is that it's quite boring at the later chapters, like you can predict what's going to happen. MC's merry band is equipped with thick plot armour and his only goal is to lead them to build a shop where they can sell goods.? I feel that author is downplaying the sense of danger in an apocalypse. It's like I'm reading a book about a party in a videogame farming for exp instead of an apocalypse story...There's plus sides though, in the earlier chapters, the entire part showcasing MC's history was done splendidly, but it all went downhill from there. The author only uses MC's background to explain his skillfulness at killing zombies and doesn't touch upon it again. Is he worried about his remaining family or does he not care and wants to forget them? And the other main characters (his best friends) are not emphasised upon. (at least not at chapter 60, maybe they will be later). They seem like the bland side characters instead of the mains because the author doesn't put much of an effort to describe their relationship with the MC. Side characters are side characters. Up to chapter 60, we only now their names and their previous occupation or general information (she is a middle-aged woman!). World background is actually pretty okay. Typical zombie apocalypse stuff yada yada. I like what the author did with the system, and explaining that those who couldn't take the pain at the start became zombies. He could build upon this and slowly reveal stuff about how it happened and why the system is in place. I stopped reading at chp. 65 because of the bad grammar. If it's fixed, I may start reading again. The novel started off strong and i hope it can salvage it's quality in future chapters.
this is a very good story.. .. good plot development ...... just the appropriate amount of everything ... .action, drama, ***, ect... i hope we get to see emotional development of character in upcoming chapters and this will be a perfect novel. ..EAGERLY WAITING FOR FURTHER UPDATES
it is good book I say especially character development, it has huge potential to become one of best novel and I personally think it one of only summoner theme novel in webnovel which has great quality.
Man, where to get started! A great premise so far with a lot of humor and laughs on my part! The story is starting to shape up well, and finally we are at the part where the story started! So chapter 73 if you guys want to know! Also the author is starting to have a better updating stability, but there have been bumps in the road. Still a great story with a lovable mc and his chicken!
