The girl walks into this room full of powerful, experienced school principals and within minutes she has them all eating out of her hand. Wu Laohu? Completely won over by her speech about his lost arm and his dedication. Zou Wenshu? She literally makes him feel seen and understood about his chronic headaches and sleepless nights. And Old Zheng? She saves her biggest speech for him and somehow makes Divine Dragon University sound like the most honorable choice despite having a death rate that would make any rational student run the other way. What I love most is how she handles Lu Yu. The original Si Junni was a mess who pushed away the one decent person in her class, and now this version just... walks right up to him and says hi. She doesn't overthink it or pretend to be someone she's not. When she asks Tu Yaoyao about his school, she's already decided to bring them both along. There's this moment where she basically adopts these two people and starts making decisions for them, and it's hilarious because they're just standing there like "sister, please begin your performance" in their heads. But here's what actually hit me — Lu Yu's backstory. He tried to help the original Si Junni, taught her how to stand up for herself, and she deliberately distanced herself from him. He gave up eventually. That line about "if someone couldn't stand up for themselves, no amount of help from others would be useful" — that's not just narration, that's Lu Yu's entire philosophy at this point. And now Si Junni is choosing to be different. She's not going to repeat the same mistakes. She's going to build something real with these people instead of pushing them away.
The dialogue in this chapter is where it's at. Jiang Lulu's voice is so distinct — she starts with the classic 'Sister is so good at it, so good at pleasing Old Madam Yan. I'm clumsy and not likable' which is pure performed humility, and then later 'Poor people are very greedy' when talking about Jiang Yunzhi possibly stealing. You know immediately she's up to something. And then when confronted, she goes full victim: 'The truth doesn't matter, I just don't want you to get hurt.' BRO. The audacity. Jiang Yunzhi's retort 'Doesn't matter? Then why do you bring it up every time we meet?' is so clean. No extra words, just devastating. Old Madam Yan's dialogue is also perfect — short, sharp, authoritative. 'Is this what Madam Jiang calls well-mannered?' One line and she's done. The narrative voice itself has this great dry humor too, especially in moments like 'This soup was clearly salty!' when Old Madam Yan calls the relationship sweet. The author knows how to let the narration wink at the reader. And Shen Xuzhou's internal monologue when he hears Yan Wenjing's voice on the phone — 'Damn it' followed by silent smoking. Sometimes the best dialogue is what you DON'T hear.
Okay so let me just say—Song Qiuya's backstory hit me like a freight train. I read through her past life and genuinely couldn't believe how completely she threw her own life away. She had a SECOND CHANCE and she wasted two years figuring out the truth about her birth before even trying to fix anything. The man she married—He Junbo—was literally a brute who beat her to death with a brick, and she was pregnant at the time. Pregnant! And her response was to blame her adoptive parents? Like, come on. She had every reason to better herself but instead she just... gave up. Married a lazy ne'er-do-well and moved to the countryside where she worked herself to death in a crumbling mud hut. The irony is almost poetic. She wanted a good life through marriage, just like Song Qinghuan, but she chose the absolute wrong person and then blamed everyone else for her misery. And now she's back in the past with this cold, calculating plan to steal Song Qinghuan's engagement. She looks at Ye Juncai and Yang Chunhua with such contempt—rolling her eyes at their cowardice, mocking them for being scared. But here's the thing that really got me: she promised them everything. A factory job for their son, a new house, moving to the city. She's manipulating them just like she'll manipulate everyone else. And yet, I can't help but feel a twinge of something complicated for her. She died alone on cold ground, bleeding out, and now she's back with this burning hunger to reclaim what she thinks is hers. But what she doesn't realize is that the life she's chasing—Lu Qiming, the Lu family status—is built on the same kind of greed and exploitation that destroyed her first life. She's becoming exactly what she hates. The relationship between her and Song Qinghuan is fascinating too. Song Qinghuan slapped her face at the Lu family home and Song Qiuya watched from the shadows. I'm genuinely curious whether Song Qiuya will realize too late that she's repeating the same patterns, or whether she'll successfully destroy everything around her like she did the first time.
The story is super interesting! Spirits roaming freely, guilds hunting them, and Takami fighting his way up—everything is so exciting. Can’t wait for the next chapter! ?

I'm not joking, this book is dope. What interests me the most here is the maim character. How can someone be so fleshed out in just a few chapters, it baffles me. The world building is interesting, but I hope it adds a little more uniqueness within the western magic genre. All in all, a book well worth reading!
The story started Strong, with an interesting plot, and where character development is not rushed.English and grammar is also good. Story line looks promising and I hope the author will be able to sustain this, build interesting storyline and weave a story that is filled with adventure, laughter, romance, indomitable human spirit and immortal grace and wisdom! I did find interesting and plan to continue reading. Overall it's okay, it's a light read, lack some depth. At moment it has some problems, the story lacks good build-ups/development, seens too smooth sailing at moment, the MC has some dificulties at start, but it's resolved very soon and basically on their own, the MC seens very naive, the girls also. I think it lacks more conflict, more factions within the goblin tribe and more malice towards the MC in general, I would say that definetely needs to expand on the goblin culture, like how they live, what they believe, what events/celebrations they do and how they are, what they admire or dislike, even the goals of the female tribe, questions like they kidnap men the same way the male goblins do with females? At moment it's too superficial explained.spoiler* I think the decision to make the MC the chief of the tribe was very bad, it was too rushed in my opinion, it lacked a proper buil-up for that. The tribe was too accepting of this, it lacked more conflict here and the factions that I mentioned earlier. Also it was less believable, why a stranger with different race, culture, faith or lack off it, and with a suspicious background be choosen to lead the tribe... I think it could happen, with time and overcoming opposition, but not like written here. They want his knowledged, but they could obtain it with other ways or with more malicious means, so why would they surrender their power and authority? It would make more sense if he started as an advisor for the goblin chief/queen or maybe he could be accepted as chief with the basis in some god or something, like the MC being their apostole or envoy... It would make more beliavable spoiler*On character development of the girls, at moment Mira, Zarra and the balcksmith are okay, Rynne is also okay. I don't like Lia, she seens to become too close to the MC right of the bat, even like they already know each other, all they girls sort have this inexplicable closeness, but on Lia it's worst, and she seens very bland now, even more because she was the previous chief. I think it needs more development on how the MC and the girls evolve their relationship.Some thoughts on the future development of the story: concerned on how the MC will make his goblin kingdom, it will have more conflict and opposition or they will just accept it like him being the chief of the tribe? The MC seens to already be thinking on have contact or conflict with other races like beastfolk or humans, but it's seens crazy because he is on pile of sand now, very weak position to be. How they will survive the humans, more inteligent and malicious than their current enemies? How the MC will deal with betrayals and the polictics of his goblin/monster kingdom? Remembering he doesn't have no legitimacy, just a human crowing over monsters. I wish he could develop more before future conflicts.I will keep reading like I said, cheering for the story.OBS: English is not my primary language, so sorry if the review is poorly written.
