when she woke up she felt somthing warm and cuddly beside her and instinctively her body got closer to it and slowly fell asleep without her permission. A few days had past with her drinking milk, sleeping, and daily stretches. It was a very frustating few days for her since she wasn't in control when it came to feeding and sleeping her body only allowed her to do her weird stretches during the time it gave which wasn't alot. When she was finally able to open her eyes she cried tears of joy since, in seeing she was also able to be in control of her body. She was also excited to see what species she had become as well as have a better sense of how her mother looked since it is never too late to form a mother daughter bond. For the first time opening her eyes all she saw was the darkness of her species specialty made tunnel but soon after her eyes adjusted to it, she was able to see that the older family members were surrounding herself and the litter of furless newborns giving them warmth. She wondered if she was safe there since none were awake or on guard and danger waits for no one. But she ignored the thought in favor of looking around more.

So what's wrong with taking the back streets?
'Yanyan, Mother asks you... Is that little Luo girl really some kind of noble lady?' No, mother. Because the look in her daughter's eyes was 'off—there was a fierceness in her gaze that sent chills down her spine.' This moment right here is everything. Tian Denghua, who raised four children alone and is clearly the toughest person in this household, INSTINCTIVELY knows something is wrong. And she's right. Song Yanyan is not a sweet little girl. She's a girl who has seen her mother and herself both 'pierced through by that cold, sharp sword' in her dream memories. She's a girl who felt her mother's blood soak her clothes. And now she's using that trauma to manipulate everyone around her. She lied to the whole family about Luo Jinyu being noble. She lied to her mother about the white-bearded immortal. She's playing house while secretly running a chess game. But here's what's interesting—her motivation is genuinely loving. She wants to protect her family. She's not doing this for power or revenge (at least not yet). She's doing it because she's seen the worst possible outcome and she's determined to prevent it. The relationship between her and Tian Denghua is the emotional core of this story. Tian Denghua loves her fiercely—she wanted to pinch her ear, she got teary-eyed thinking about Yanyan being unconscious for three days. And Yanyan loves her back, but she's also hiding the worst of it from her mother. And then there's Qi Lian. Yanyan stops her from going to the sorceress, and on the surface it's sweet—'sister-in-law, I still feel a bit dizzy... why don't you come with me to see the doctor?' But we KNOW Yanyan is steering her away from that talisman because she knows what happens next. Qi Lian drinks it, Luo Jinyu forgets to close the chicken coop, Qi Lian trips and bleeds, and they lose the baby. Yanyan is preventing a tragedy, yes, but she's also controlling Qi Lian's choices. How does that relationship evolve? Can Qi Lian ever know the truth without breaking?

So much to do, so much to see
The hero turned around to meet her face almost touching his nose. Startled, he stepped back unconsciously and asked her what's wrong.
