He's affectionate and involved in his children's upbringing, even changing their diapers and soothing them to sleep. Though he occasionally gets jealous, he handles conflicts with a loving touch.
Though not a typical slice-of-life, the plot includes subtle complications that do not significantly affect the主角, Jiao Niang, whose purity and innocence protect her from most troubles. Villains swiftly face consequences and exit the story, while those close to Jiao Niang have satisfying conclusions.
The novel shines in its portrayal of romantic relationships, including the Emperor's monogamous love for his wife. Other characters like Ye Pingrong, a straightforward man, and Qi Ming, a scheming wife, add depth to the narrative.

I liked all the story from start to finish. It felt not too long nor short. I wished for a different ending but this one was good nonetheless.

This novel is just stupid. From chap 80-110 we already see a battle that feels like the final battle in any other novel. At a point I was just scrolling through wondering when this fight would end so we can go back to the MC getting stronger. But lo and behold, the author already thrusts the MC in another world in CHAP 111!!!!! ALREADY!!!!Like it just feels like the author has no idea what character building is!! We already have a massive battle and a final boss fight in just the first arc??!??!?
Every single day I hope that someone will resume translating this novel. We were cheated out of something amazing.
