The beginning was a bit tragic but it's good thing we knew what leads her to enter the dark world. Other than that, the punctuation needs to be fixed as they're some missing in the dialogues. And, I'm curious, why do you keep using the ';' symbol?
This seems promising. The world building has some nice twists on the awakener/superpower trope. So I'm looking forward to how that develops further.
