It depends which kind of xianxia you're looking for and what you've read already
My emotions towards this novel are quite conflicted. On one hand, I absolutely adore Ning Shu and root for her to confront and put those jerks in their place. However, I despise the despicable characters and find it hard to believe their shamelessness. Their behavior is infuriatingly shameless, which led me to temporarily abandon the book for a year. But now, I'm determined to push through and see how far Ning Shu's journey takes her, despite the struggle.
What a delightful read! I appreciate the engaging interactions between the main character (MC) and the male lead (ml). The descriptions of the secondary apps were vivid and easy to picture, despite some occasional quirks in the translation. However, I must mention that this story might not be for those seeking intricate or overly dramatic narratives.
Just a heads up, the revelation of why MC became an artificial intelligence felt somewhat out of place (weird, perhaps?) and didn't seem to serve much purpose as it didn't lead to any significant plot developments. In fact, I suspect the author included it to address a loose end, but it ended up creating more confusion than clarity.
It's a fun cultivation/adventure/academy story to read. There's no overly dramatised nonsensical tragedies that the mc has to go through like suddenly some family member or the fl being kidnapped etc so you don't have to read the annoyingly overused plot devices like that. There's no real system for the mc even tho there's a system tag; actually one of the other characters in the story has a system instead of the mc lmao. It's a nice read.
It's not a top tier work like LotM or SS or the many others, but it's definitely better written than many other novels within the top 20-100 rankings currently. There's one or two things that don't make sense but it's not a big deal that would ruin the story at all (the monster species whose egg he finds early in the story has no real business being where he found it). Also, this mc is one where you can't complain about him having plot armour because the author fully embraces that the the mc has broken plot armour (high luck stat) from the beginning

These are some of the worst most Inflexible so called friends and family to I have ever read about in my life. I barely want to be business associates with any of them. It started out so good too.
I nearly have 200 novels... I wonder why am I still adding more...
