Honest review here. There are alot of errors in this novel. The story itself may be good, sadly its glory has yet to show due to this issue. Every time I open a new chapter i get bombarded by mistake after mistake. I suggest getting someone to proof read chapters or edit them. The potential is there. Sadly basic understanding of the English language is letting this novel down.
Ok so mc is weak and finds metal ball which fuses with him, he instinctually knows how to use it, ok. Makes some sense if you think magic. Then mc gets a gene from food rather than killing an animal, unique. I like. That was chapter 1, from there it goes downhill rapidly. We are introduced to our first trope in chapter 2 or 3 in which we learn that the loser mc is friends with the martial school goddess, at this point every comment i read is people complaining or saying they drop because im leaving out some other reasons this is one star. Anyways, loser mc friends with goddess at start trope, check. Heres where the author makes a bigger mistake, 2 is not better than 1 if people hate 1, especially when the second goddess you add instantly after is the mcs little sister and the guys at the school are jealous of your "luck" with women when ONE OF THEM IS YOUR SISTER!!! Not even stepsister, and i know that wouldnt justify things but a lot of these authors try to justify with that excuse. Also mc stupid and him fighting Du Quan was clear plot force and will lead to cockroach young master being born just cause mc was stupid and chose to fight him when he had no need to, only a made up benefit which even the mc said that he coulda learned at any moment (the wolf technique). I hope this stops some from reading, this is just as bad as legend of the mythological gene and is just chasing after the old fame of it before it got nationalistic.
Very good plot. Worth a try. A lot of potential is in the story. I would suggest everyone to atleast read a few chap before deciding otherwise.

I need a minute. I genuinely need a minute after reading Qiao Shuang getting stabbed. Let me just say — I did NOT see that coming emotionally. Up until this point, Qiao Shuang was this warm, slightly comedic figure who bargained with the system and nagged about embroidery. She was the nice mom. The safe mom. And then in one instant, she becomes the most devastating character in this entire story. The moment she leaps in front of Song Yuejiao without hesitation — no pause, no calculation, just pure instinct — that's when I knew this author understands something most writers miss: the most powerful love stories aren't about grand declarations, they're about split-second choices. And Qiao Shuang's choice was instantaneous. Song Yuejiao's reaction is what really broke me though. She's kneeling on the ground, tears dripping onto the floor, forming a puddle, and she's too terrified to even touch her mother because she's afraid any movement will make it worse. The detail about the sword being 'firmly nailed' to Qiao Shuang's waist — that word choice is brutal and perfect. It conveys exactly how deep and still the blade is. And then Song Yuejiao's internal monologue afterward, remembering all the small things her mother did for her over ten years, versus what she herself would have done in that moment — 'If it were her, Song Yuejiao thought, she wouldn't be so kind, definitely not so decisive.' That self-awareness, that guilt, that love all compressed into one sentence? Devastating. The whole mother-daughter relationship has been simmering quietly and now it's boiling over in the most painful way possible.
I only ask that you read carefully before posting a review, and please don’t just put a negative review because you personally don’t like a certain type of theme, I won’t bother with it. If I can improve on something, I will try, but I am not going to compromise the plot because someone doesn’t like the MC having a personality which they don’t like.Thanks for reading my novel!

Well i got to say this is pretty good just dIsappoint Cause of the way the author rush the end of the story. All things aside its a good read.
Great novel, but why did all the chapters all of sudden go behind a paywall? Is this a choice of the novel or the new owners of this website? Just yesterday I was in 200 now every thing after 56 is blocked.
