He stepped over to a black Katana mounted on the wall, "Did you know this katana was taken from a enemy in world war two."
The ring was of a dark silver that took on a wood-like appearance. It was smooth with the Crystal in the middle and four metal branches wrapped around it, very similar to its counterpart. Still feeling amazement, she slowly slipped on the ring, feeling that it was in its rightful place.
Hayato turns to see the Vice-Guild Master and says " You knew about this, Vice-Guild Master? "
"N-NOO-O!!" My voice could not create more words apart from my crying.
That was one time!! Xi would never let me live that down. I didn't bother replying and took a deep breathe before I opened the door to Alex Wang's office.
"Sure Bai." He says sarcastically while chuckling.
right now. 1'11 also give you written instructions on how to work the machine and 1'11 come out to Oklahoma to make sure it's working properly.
I'm sooooo excited to read this, it has a very good plot I'm very lucky to have found this story. I'm really hoping that it will win so that it will be published first, I bet its a really very very very good, excellent and an exciting story...well I'm only gonna describe it in one word: PERFECT!!!.
I've read up to chapter 227. I'm pretty mixed regarding this novel. It's a decent shounen-esque light novel with emphasis on world-development and character design. I will give the author this, the characters are really good, albeit not the best I've seen in novels but far superior than your average light novel. The world background/design is also amazing, I don't think I've seen a novel similar to this where I know more than four countries in a reasonable timeframe. The story development is a solid 2/5. This is mostly because I can't help but notice that for a huge portion of the novel, the main character is almost always embroiled in a fight with people one or two major realms above him. This, provided with the authors habit of making the main character fight against a conspiracy, plot to harm a lot of people, or similar things in every single place he goes annoys me quite a bit. I think this is actually worse than when a main character kills a young master, fights his father, then his grandfather, then his great grandfather, a patriarch (etc) in cultivation novels. This pacing ruins the novel in my opinion. On another note, this is just a personal gripe of mine and is purely subjective, but I find it incredibly annoying in cultivation novels similar to this where the main character gains power specifically to protect his little sister or family in general, and then I have to watch as the author makes those characters completely irrelevant for the entire story. This is mostly due to the fact that it's not only predictable, but it happens in every single novel similar to this without fail.Overall, it's a good novel, I think the author needs to work on the pacing a bit more, correct the common grammatical mistakes, and tone down some of the long-winded descriptions, but other than that it's a worthwhile read.
"Beautiful…" among other such murmurings.
When he pointed that out, Long Fei and Su Mian realized that the air near them started to get thicker! Their GrandMaster was about to kill someone! Although they also wanted to know how she was able to seat there and remained unharmed, they didn't want to provoke their GrandMaster!
Tbh, Its alright. My only issue is with the MC, not that he is bad his personality is to my liking, however, he does not really make much sense. His profession in his past life does not match up with all the "inventions" that he knows. Its unrealistic to the point its kind of annoying. How does a civil engineer know how to make paper? the same can be said for war weapons. We all know what a gun is, but 99 percent of us would not be able to make a gun in a medieval world. In addition, the Mc's personality shift after reincarnating is not talked about enough. Your telling me if randomly your dearest loved one had a personality shift your not even going to acknowledge it? The story is kinda entertaining because I love superior MC's, revenge, and face slapping. But the points I mentioned before unfortunately turn this into an average novel. Theres nothing wrong with average, it is not good nor is it bad. I personally recommend reading it to see if the whole irritate you or not. I wish the characters were explored a bit more so we can see why they do what they do. Its entertaining only for a little bit when only the MC and the people he cares about is smart. Overall Ill give this a solid 3, im not mad at it, but unfortunately its not for me, ill read on until chapter 100 to give an updated review, currently on chapter 35.
