I can’t wait for more chapters to this book. It’s really getting good. I hope it’s updated really soon really soon.
Okay, I need to talk about this family dinner scene because it is ABSOLUTELY CHILLING in how efficiently it peels back every layer of this family's toxicity. Jiang Tianci — the spoiled brother — is the most fascinating villain here. He's not some cartoonishly evil stepbrother; he's a REAL one. He genuinely believes he deserves Jiang Muyan's life because he was BORN into it. When he yells "The debt of upbringing is greater than heaven—you must repay it!" after finding out she's not even their biological daughter... that line gave me actual chills. The audacity. The entitlement. The sheer, unfiltered gaslighting. He was raised to believe he owns everything, and now his whole worldview is cracking. But Liu Fangmei? Oh my god. She's the real monster. Swapping a baby for a military family's child because their watch cost more than several months of salary? That's not just selfish — that's sociopathic. And the fact that she felt zero guilt about it? The casual way she justifies it like it was no big deal? "Thankfully I made the switch back then. Do you know? Our biological daughter is living a great life now." As if that somehow absolves her of stealing another child's entire existence. And Jiang Yucheng — the father — is the most realistically pathetic character. He goes from cold authority figure to fake-soft "Muyan, I will definitely make it up to you" in THREE SECONDS flat when he realizes the police might get involved. His love is entirely transactional. He cared about her only as long as she was useful for marrying Director Zhang and securing his own position. Jiang Muyan's transformation is what makes this all work. The girl who used to watch them eat meat while she starved? Gone. The one who now dodges attacks like a trained fighter? Completely different person. I love how the narrative never explains her new abilities outright — we just see the results. She moves "crisp and decisive," she channels "Spiritual Power" like it's nothing. Whatever happened to her before this chapter, she's not the same girl anymore. The relationship dynamics shift so fast in this scene. One moment they're all united against her, the next they're turned on each other. Liu Fangmei fanning the flames when Tianci attacks her. Jiang Yucheng silently watching his wife get slapped. The family fractures in real time, and it's beautiful.

Please before I start this book I need someone or the author to tell me if he shares her with other men ? please that’s my only hard limit. No matter how good a book is I can never like it if it contains such act.
