The translation quality is amazing, the stability of the updates is also great...However, the novel itself su.cks, it started well with a martial arts Mc and lots of amazing fighting scenes, but the Mc literally doesn’t approve the slightest bit and Iv’e read over 300 chapters, he’s still weak, always gets pulled in a mess and doesn’t even notice it, in fact, it became a novel that just keeps on talking about 18th century politics and it pisses me off soooo much... The Mc is literally useless, he’s not even an assassin, the name of the novel itself has to change... the story is sooo damn slow at developing that I’m literally thinking of dropping it before becoming crazy..In conclusion, if you love reading novels about pathetic Mc that can’t even control their fate and also don’t try to do so, instead they always get the short end of the stick, also if you want to read a story that literally doesn’t advance in its development, always stick in one place yet full of political useless freaking damn battles, then be my guest.
This novel is what I call a tragic story.The protagonist might be strong, however not strong enough to prevent unfortunate things happening to the people dear to him.Some allies are forced to betray him due to insufficient strength, his enemies are an entire dimension above him (literally).His paths are always blocked.His story is tragic, however it's also quite entertaining too.
It's fantastic, the story is very interesting, and the characters feel unique, especially the one named Lay. Also the play between what was the future and what was the past is quite well achieved.
I guess a Review is due, shameless author here. Story will follow our Dragon mc in his new life, this will mainly be for fans of the monster mc genre, I decided to start one as only god knows we need more of these. So ya, hope you guys will enjoy! Please, I beg you to read this book. This is by far one of the best tragedies I've ever read.The internal struggles that the main character goes through are so well done. From trust, betrayal, and trauma, all are descriptive and very much well written. So much so that it makes me slightly concerned for the author's well-being and whether or not they are writing some parts from experience. After all that she's gone through, you follow along her road to recovery. Experiences in which others help to get over her trauma and help her trust and smile again. Of course, with all tragedies, relapses are bound to happen, but she learns to become stronger and overcome it.The world building is phenomenal. Her experiences and purity tie in to what she views of the world and how the world is shaped by the main character's perspective.From the gods' and demons' plans, she is caught in the middle of it all, trying to do what she believes is right, all while struggling with her emotions and trauma and focusing on her road to recovery. One of my favorite traits about this book is how skill progression works. It is unlike any system from common books with that function. The 'levels' come from , not by numbers, but personal experience with training and battle. While she is extremely weak from the beginning due to a handicap, most of her power comes from her ingenuity. There are minimal mistakes in grammar. I'm not even sure if I've found a single one yet. The author puts a tremendous amount of effort into writing this book.While this book is a perfect gem, I will warn you that it is very, very dark. It is not for the faint of heart and covers many sensitive topics, and it will continue for an extended period of time.Again, I beg you, please read this book. I haven't read a book I thoroughly enjoyed much like this, even contending books published by HarperCollins.
