There will be some spoilers so........)Even tho i like the fishing thing in the novel it turns into Cultivation novel.Where he goes to from village to town. And there he joins a stupid school that everyone looks down on but was most powerful one.At school he finds out his talent isn't so great after all. It happens in like 140-50th chapter.
Definitely a good story so far and hopefully it gets picked. There are a variety of rough parts. The translation is hard to follow at a few points and can't decide on things like if people cultivate Qi or Aura. The MC is overall an interesting character but his lack of reaction to murdering lots of people sticks out as odd. The little girl is a little too obedient for her age but is otherwise another solid character. So far I like it and definitely recommend it as overall it is a very solid read. The world seems interesting and I am curious where the story will go. Only 25 chapter out right now though so YMMV.

Okay, I need to talk about Fu Tingyuan because this man is doing the most behind the scenes and honestly it's giving major soft husband energy. Like, on the surface he's being all dramatic about the washboard thing—"I'll just go get a washboard"—but then the narrative quietly reveals that he's been watching her study every night for two days straight. He didn't tease her because he saw how focused she was. He didn't sleep on the floor anymore. He noticed when she needed water and left a cup next to her without making a big deal about it. And then on audition day, he literally took a half-day off to walk her out like it's the college entrance exam. His mom was there too with the water bottle, and Fu Tingyuan took it and put it in the car himself. This is a man who expresses love through actions, not words, and that's honestly so much more endearing than someone who just says sweet things. The fact that Chen Tang didn't even notice the water cup or how well-behaved he'd been shows she was so absorbed in her craft, and Fu Tingyuan clearly appreciated that about her. He called her excellent, saw her preparation, and wasn't afraid to tell her. That's a healthy dynamic right there—someone who genuinely believes in their partner's abilities. The only question is whether Chen Tang will ever fully realize how much effort he's putting into supporting her career, or if she'll keep attributing everything to "responsibility as a husband." Because come on, that's way more than responsibility.
