Lu Qinyi and Fei Li stood on opposite sides of the war, destined to be enemies and nothing more. However, things get complicated after Fei Li is ambushed, sustaining a significant head injury that renders him temporarily amnesiac.
Lu Qinyi had only intended to hold the enemy general hostage to buy his army some time. But he got more than he bargained for when the mental state of the confused and injured Fei Li is far worse than predicted and he becomes the only one capable of treating him.
Fei Li however finds himself at the mercy of the enemy but he is surprisingly treated rather un-enemy-like. Despite this, he often felt it would have been better if they never met at all, remaining enemies who were perfect strangers.
Warnings: Violence and blood, because that’s always the answer. Suicide and drugs, but that’s never the answer. The slowest of slow burn romances.
