I absolutely love this novel. It is probably my favorite Webnovel I have ever read, and I have read a TON of books like these, but never found something that fits my taste as much as this one. And no, I am not lying or whatever, I have been searching for a good novel for about half a year now, and oh my, thank you for making this book. All I would like to say, is I hope their will not be any romance, and definitely no harem. I would stop reading this and will definitely be very upset, like really. I will definitely continue to try and stay as the top contributor for now, and will try my best to spend all my coins and will try to gift the author my power stones. So please, author, if you are reading this it would mean everything to me if you were to put your best effort into this, for me and the others reading this book. We truly appreciate all the little things you add to this to make our experiences better. And of course, I will say it again, I would love no romance, but if you really want to, like really, really badly, then make it actually proper, and don’t let it effect the story too much. Anyways, I will really try my best to support the author ( ・∇・)
This is one of those famous cases where the person possesses a genuinely great idea but executes it poorly. About 90% of the story consists of the protagonist's training, which is incredibly tedious. The protagonist is portrayed as an emotionless rock, and towards the end, undergoes an abrupt personality shift to become a clichéd villain "devoid of empathy." I'm a fan of stories featuring villains; my favorite novel is Reverend Insanity, but Shang is perhaps the most uninteresting character I've ever come across.The world depicted in the story feels entirely artificial and lifeless, almost as if it were merely a theatrical backdrop. The characters don't hold much significance to the narrative and seem to exist solely to create a false illusion of a living, breathing world. Occasionally, a character plays a crucial role in advancing the plot, but once that purpose is served, the author either forgets about them or kills them abruptly.To be honest, some parts of the story piqued my interest, such as the action-packed fights and the intricate power system. However, I prefer stories that evoke strong emotions, that quicken my heartbeat, and keep me on edge, eagerly anticipating what will unfold in the next chapter—a roller coaster of emotions, so to speak.Yet, this story felt more like a monotonous car trip on a bumpy road. I had hoped for something captivating, but it turned out to be disappointingly mediocre.

prery fun story to read. the first one I've read with the mc being a hydra. the characters are interesting and fun.
I want to see Vikings conquering the world. Obviously using science from modern world. Not ignorance and stakes.

it was quite fun, but past 60th chapter translation quality is comparable to the level of decent mtl and it drops. not worth paying for that.
