This novel has a good plot development and every chara is pretty interesting. It is easy to read and catch up to, so refreshing; nice to fill the free time. But one thing that misses in this novel... why u didn't put a "comedy" tag, author? I laugh several times srsly hahaha LIBE IS SO CUTE AND HER ACTION TO HIRO KILLS ME ??
I find all these reviews hilarious. Though I agree with what most are saying, I don’t think it’s right to criticize the novel just because you’re a little butt hurt that the novel you wanted didn’t get voted. Even though I also don’t like hentai novels, I wouldn’t call it garbage, a novel is still a novel and maybe there are people who will like it.Personally, I think it’s ***** to think the novel is bad before reading at least 50-100 chapters. All said in less, I’m disappointed that most reviews didn’t give me a clear understanding of what I was going to read. Calling a novel ‘trash’ or ‘garbage’, makes you sound like a 3 year old that didn’t get the candy they wanted. When writing a review, give a clear view of you’re perspective on the novel without unneeded insults.Looking at these reviews, I’d say this website is more fill with children then hentai’s. If you are reading this, try out this novel; if you like it, then that’s great; if you don’t, then leave it at that. Don’t listen to reviews that have insults trying to lower the value of the novel, just cause they are butt hurt.
Love how this story is not a reincarnation novella. The plot is so interesting, I couldn't stop reading. Much better grammar and writing than many stories I've seen on here.Overall just a nice break away from a female lead being interested in only romance. I am definitely enjoying the luxurious season of unrestrained energy from the book.
Its Pretty good. In the beginning there was some problems understanding it but later on i got disappointed because the name is misleading . He is only a demon god king in name.(forgot what his title is)He could ended the other five familes already to get rid of his problems so he can focus on cultivation. Too arrogant as well and has some cliches as well. Thought this novel was going to different but I lost interest . Its a good read but its just not my taste
Erm, I'm not gonna lie this felt like almost every single one of the reincarnation stories out there. However, the main character seems interesting, but again I lost hope in this book as soon as the girl entered. I honestly hope this doesn't turn into a flop. Another thing, what does the cover have to do with the story itself? The cover makes me not want to read at all since it will make me assume this is a female lead story. Besides these complaints, this is a good story and I hope you the best of luck author.
I honestly gotta say that at the moment this is the novel i am looking forward to the most each day. It got a unique setting with a young man whose father died and his mom, an american, actually comes to pick him up and take him to live with her and his 2 halfsiblings and 3 stepsiblings in New York. Which is amazing in my opinion because first of all too few chinese novels take place outside of china, which is why this story is such a breath of fresh air. Secondly he actually lives in a normal patchwork family, his siblings, some care for him more some less, are normal people and his stepfather tries to understand and support him so we actually got a normal western family culture instead of the typical "my father's 7th mistresses' adopted son doesn't like me so i have to kill him" type of bull**** that i am allready so tired of.Furthermore it got a dark theme, an mc that's not fascinated by every beautiful girl that comes by (we actually only have 1 girl that's important at the moment which is amazing) and he is kind of badass with a unique cultivation system where he doesn't kill everybody just because but if somebody tries to really mess with him he goes ham because negative emotions help him cultivate faster so the story gotta stay more on the dark side (nice). As for worldbuilding and pacing they are both nice, even though we don't know much about the wizard world. That's about one of the few things that i don't like about this novel: the word choice of the translator. Everybody who has read enogh wuxia novels will realise that he is actually not a wizard (thanks harry for ruining this term for me) but a gu master, who uses poisonous animals (insects, snakes, reptiles, etc.). That is also why it is so confusing that the word "worm" was chosen to descrobe any kind of poisonous creature the mc encounters: "Wow it's a worm" (he says while looking at a toad)"Such an amazing wizard worm" (he says while looking at a komodo dragon)You get me right? If not for the (kind of) poor word choice, the many grammar mistakes and ****ed up uses of the metric system (a 15 meters long reptile weighs 1.5 kg, sure why not) and the frickin slow update pace this would easily crush most novels that are currently being translated just because of a simple fact:THIS NOVEL IS TRULY UNIQUE AND NOT WUXIA COPY PASTE
I don’t know what to say, I was hyped up by the reviews, but all I got is an unmotivated modern person in medieval china.
Some uses recycling plot, repeating info in every chapter and harem to increase chapter and word count, and there is this type of author who just beat around the bushes and destroy a total forest to make path of a gorgeous snail king in form of a novel.
The is average, which is to say better than 95% of what you will find in this site. Very much reminiscent of coiling dragon Standard story with MC waking up in different world with a system. The good stuff first : the MC is not stupid. He doesn't have much of a personality but he is also not doing dumb things because of a hero complex. Also the system. Great implementation of the concept. It's only a tool that increases stats. No quest windows. No dimensional shops. No guiding voice. The system is a system, not a character. Now the dad : The MC doesn't invent anything new. It's the kind of story where he follows an inheritance from one person and when it reaches to limit he moves on to the next higher level inheritance. Also the system. At the beginning he spends some time cultivating on his own. Increasing his stats just like any other person. But at some point the author just decided that doing it the conventional way is for loosers, and had the MC just buy all the stats he needed to reach higher levels. Also major negative. The peanut gallery is just annoying. The amount of time spent on how it's impressive that he is only 16 years old is fricking absurd. I know that authors are paid by the world count , but like there are numbers other than 16. 17 being one of them. Just have him age a year!!!!
Long review, because it's that good. Divided it up for your convenience.SUMMARY:Yun Yang is Supreme Cloud: the youngest of a group called the Nine Supremes chosen to inherit a particular cultivation method. They use the abilities of earth, fire, water, wind, gold, wood, cloud, thunder and blood to protect their country and its people. However, they are ambushed and slaughtered- Yun Yang is the only survivor thanks to a mystical seed he has carried for years. After a year of healing, he begins to regain his lost abilities and uses them to seek revenge for his fallen brothers- a journey that will bring you both joy and tears as you follow his growth to the pinnacle. REASONS TO READ: -MC is awesome and when I say awesome I mean the guy is a brilliant, fast-tongued schemer who sometimes trips himself up because he is also clueless when it comes to some things. He isn't perfect, never claims to be, and I like him even more for that. - this will emotionally wreck you in the best ways possible. And yet, it isn't "touchy-feely". Striking that balance is well deserving of praise. -none of the characters are flat: even the popinjays have character growth! -romance is slow and well-written as far as I've gotten. His focus is on revenge, not googly-eyes, which is frustrating as hell for the girls who like him, but amusing for readers. -the cultivation system is a nice twist on the usual, especially since it features more than one system for the MC. The cheat system is also novel and doesn't take over the whole story. -ASSASSIN KITTENS REASONS TO AVOID: - If you detest an MC who wipes out the entire family of his enemies. He doesn't do it every time, but yeah. He has been guilty of eradicating an entire household to get to the one man he wants to kill a time or two. At the same time, he has also knowingly and deliberately spared the offspring and families of others, so. - If you detest LONG military chapters when you just want to get back to the MC and his story. They're interesting, I guess, if you're into military actions, but I tended to skim and skip most of the military chapters until the MC showed up. Thankfully in the 572 chapters I've read, I've only had to deal with about... what, 10 chapters of this type of content? So don't let that stop you if you're interested. As I said, skim and skip.
Sounds interesting and promising please pick it, not some copy with changed names pleaselike for realziufcktvgvhvjbjbj kbjvj hvg いj府のいt部卯brfyhu
This is translation review, not novel review. If you are not familiar with it, webnovel has started westernizing most of the novels in 2021. This is awful practice that kills original novel. At best you get only names, places and organizations westernized and at worst you get half novel gutted and other half totally rewritten by translator. With best case scenario you get only names, places and organizations westernized which introduces plotholes cause while names are westernized, actual writing and character culture arent. You get chinese way of thinking, chinese places and organizations translated into most famous western (USA) alternatives and as a result you see absurdity. And with the worth case scenario, you are not actually reading original authors work, but some "translators" plagiarization cause half novel is removed (sometimes critical explanations) and other half is badly rewritten. And cause this requires so much work compared to normal translation, either webnovel is stealing original authors work and rewriting it (cause most of those novels dont come from qidian) or they are just using translators that dont know chinese so they are rewriting story with help of MTL (seen too many edited MTL translations lately on webnovel). overall any westernized novel deserves automatic 1 star review.
