I appreciate the storyline, particularly the captivating beginning. However, the initial part is a bit unsettling, with the twins' complex emotions towards each other, particularly the brother. My initial assumption was that the main character (ML) might be the reincarnation of the twin, which is disturbing, but let's set that aside.
The issue I have with this novel is the ML's behavior. Despite his dedication, there's a concerning vibe that he comes across as grooming, especially since the female lead (FL) tends to cling to him. Their age difference, being 20 and 14, may not be significant, but considering the FL's young age, it feels inappropriate at times. The transition from sibling relationship to something more intimate seems rushed and disregards the MC's feelings, which triggers discomfort in me. I can't help but empathize with the original FL's biological brother, who faces possessiveness from the ML, preventing him from interacting with his own sister.
If the ML hadn't become overly possessive after Chapter 80, I would've given the book a higher rating. Instead, his actions often verge on sexual harassment, making me dread his appearances. One scene in particular, where he shamelessly slaps the 14-year-old FL's butt, knowing full well her true age, is highly disturbing.
The author does excel in creating intriguing supporting characters, but their development is limited, focusing mainly on the FL's experiences and interactions. I wished to see more depth in their lives, especially those connected to the FL's fortune. The absence of significant secondary characters like the dragon-phoenix twins of the crown prince feels like a missed opportunity.
Overall, while the ML's descent adds a certain level of complexity, it's not entirely unpredictable. Taking a more objective view, I'd give the book a 4 out of 5 stars. It could've been higher, but the disturbing aspects and lack of focus on other characters prevent it from reaching its full potential.

I have only read up until CH 17, but the story is a bit inconsistent, perhaps it will get better as the author finds his path. The reason I say this come from examples such as hundreds of enemies marching towards our protagonist, then he defeats 50, then after it is mentioned he defeated 12 etc. the numbers are inconsistent and fluctuate. Our MC power levels are also weird. We learn in the beginning that he is at silver lvl 28 (close to lvl 29). Then we learn he has some master skill that lets him do more, or less as he chose. Nothing is explained and it seems like the author is more interested in just having the MC do whatever whenever without any consistency or logic behind it. I know that happens in other light novels as well and to some is a core of the story. However the way it is written here it kinda makes things meaningless, because what is the reason behind pages that explain stuff if none of it has any meaning and the MC will do 'whatever' without any rules or regulations behind it. I don't think I will be reading this one to the end.
I tried, really tried to like the mc, but I don’t. I don’t see how someone can casually write off sexual molestation as something normal, that honestly irritates me. In case someone wants to say something like ‘oh, the mc is just playing around’, or ‘ it’s not that serious’. Please google is your friend, if you are too lazy to check what sexual molestation is, here’s the meaning ‘ to make unwanted or improper sexual advances towards (someone)
especially : to force physical and usually sexual contact on (someone). What I hate most is an Mc that is supposed to be sensible, acting like a rapist, finding every opportunity to grope or touch the fl. From the summary I should I have realized, didn’t think it was going to be this bad. And if someone is still tryna say I’m overreacting, please bear in mind there are people in this world we have been molested who might come across this book and be triggered. The storyline might be good but the character of the Mc is a huge HELL NO.
