Author of Diavazo Logs here.So I thought I'd give a more detailed overview of DiaL while avoiding spoilers.DiaL follows the two main characters, Nori and their AI partner, as they travel through Gaellia—a world that would soon become the battleground for a game where Winning meant Everything (and there is only one winner). Of course, Nori wants nothing to do with it even though they're a player. Diavazo Logs is a story of an AI pushing his reluctant partner to be a "hero," helped along by the fact Nori's "Luck" really is to be admired.TL;DR: DiaL is about a "not my business" protagonist that gets dragged into trouble and problems due to their righteous AI partner.I'm very glad the Inkstone publishing platform is finally rolled out since I've been waiting for months to share my titles here. I'm one of the very first authors trying out the platform so there are bugs but it's to be expected! (Root Ball Prison Cell is C15 and She Brought Me Cake is C16 instead of C2 or C3, respectively. Hopefully, that will be fixed soon though.)Oh, yeah, updates. Release rate will be 10/week—double on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I'll try to maintain a constant buffer as long as there is interest.
There is hardly anything of significance that happened in the 98 chapters I read. Anything interesting or related to world building happened to other characters and the MC only learns of it when he comes back from hiding somewhere and hears the gossip. Otherwise the MC is grinding experience painfully slowly. Two issues I have: the writer repeats statements over and over again, using slightly different words, or many times the same words. All this does is artificially increases word count without adding to the story. For a story where nothing happens over a large number of chapters it is very frustrating to suffer this bad tactic from writers to increase word count. Second issue: the cost of each chapter vs the enjoyment that you get out of it is totally imbalanced. Why would I spend money when it takes twenty chapters for some minor thing to happen? If you’re going to read this, save your money, and use it only when the story is free. Or wait for the story to have 500 chapters before investing.

I like the story. The world building is good and well thought out. The main character is nice and I like how well written he is. But the side characters are not one dimensional but people who contribute to the story which ticked a box for me. The power system is good and for someone like me who is tired of reading about novels with systems I like it that this one doesn't have it. This is a pure progression story with no system so the MC would work hard to get to where he is now. I am the type of person who likes to read what the world of the story I am reading about is like, for example this MC is into formations. I read how he constructs and what formations are like. This shows the writer has good descriptive writing and this helps me to see how the MC is progressing and makes me feel a little like I am seeing or checking out the progress of the MC. This is a slow progression story which some people would not like so for now he isn't OP or getting jade beauties like they are Pokémon. The problems I have are with the translator. He doesn't translate this story properly which to me is an insult to such a good story. The translator confuses the gender of the main character and sometimes the character of this story. This story can be better but the translator has to pick up and improve. Never did I felt that after 20 chapters i'm so invested in a book !!! The author feels smart and don't go the easy way out and thinks before writing and it pays well !!! Great works so far !!!
