I've read this passage twice, and I must say it's incredibly enjoyable. If you enjoyed Fangsi, I'm confident that you'll appreciate "Double Leading Ladies" too - in my opinion, it has a much deeper emotional intensity. The main character experiences several depression relapses, particularly when she loses her ability to remember even simple lines, which really adds to the angst. The supporting characters, like Qin Yinong and Tang Ruoyao, are delightful as well, with their adorable daughter who's quite the food enthusiast.
