I have read 2 of mao ni books and now i read the path toward heaven. So far, I like jing jiu...i like all the mystery surrounding our characthers...and i really like how the story reveal itself... it kind of fun read with all the lazyness of our main charachter and how it became his trademark that almost make people around him feel hapeless. But (sometimes) his lazyness has deeper meanings than being lazy and iy become cool ^^d
Good novel! Sure, it might be another MC rise-to-power, but hey, at least it's funny, and hey, at least it avoids some of the usual cliches in these type of stories. One of the actual martial arts training stories I can actually stand to read. Characters have depth, MC's clever scheming is fun to follow along, romance leads aren't obnoxious, you get a pass in my book.
I have read the first 30 chapter and can say that it has good writing quality and stability of updates. The story development and character design isn't really for me. While it is decent, I find it rather too generic (good guy trope) and I found his reincarnation rather useless, maybe there will be a reason for that later but for now, all I see is a somewhat obedient little boy in the MC. He had merged with the previous soul, yet there is no fear, or worry, or even acknowledgement that he was killed. Where is the caution, he goes around worrying about his mother, yet why is that? He just came into this world and the memories doesn't seem to affect him, can you generate affection quickly for someone this quickly? If he does have memory of his life as prince then why is there no fear or even a thought about his murder. What is the reason that he wants to get strong? Is it revenge, to protect his loved ones, I still have not found a reason for him or the story. I see no tension or reason to follow the story, his sister seems far more interesting.Usually the environment of fighting for thrones make the characters mature, yet the MC seems to lack that. While the story seems to check most boxes I really did not get an interest in following the MC's story. His origin not really that interesting, his circumstance he seem to not care, his cheat and bloodline a bit generic. I expected more then this from Invincible Corruption Manual. Op mc in a nice story with sheme and allIt look promising give it a try it look like tyrant whith the small boys op but with sheme not overshowing his ability and prefer to play it smartJust hope for more release

I have a soft spot for comedic novels, hell my favorite novels come from the author You Qian who is a comedic mastermind to me at least. This novel rivals them in my heart, Heck I laughed harder than I did reading the greatest secret agent of all time. If this was in the previous batch I wouldn’t have wasted all my coins on other stories but now all I have is a measly 29 to give. It’s grand, it’s amazing and it’s short at least according to Winters_Rain and so we won’t have to deal with the author dropping it. All I see here are good points and I think anyone with a good sense of humor would love reading this! I love it and I hope some of you rich people with coins could help vote for this one because I think it deserves it, I really do. The story is also kinda slice of life and it’s well done I think. It sets up a lot of jokes and I think it’s somehow... relatable? I don’t have siblings so I don’t know but I feel like it’s down to earth if that makes sense. So yeah, I basically like everything here. The characters of the school (especially the teachers), The Mc’s family and every other character on the story so far. I think it’s quite the unique one and if I haven’t convinced you in anything just try it out and don’t take anything here seriously, this story is made to make you laugh and if enjoyed it then the story did it’s job. So go ahead you would at least get a couple chuckles, I give you the Cat_King promise. ^_^
