Such an amazing storyline. Well done, author.
Caution: Beware of Stealthy Onion Attacks!
This novel, despite only being up to the second arc, is mind-blowing! The emotions it evokes are intense. Initially, I stopped reading during the first arc due to cringe-worthy moments (laughs now), but I'm glad I resumed. It's truly a hidden gem, and the translator deserves credit.
The main character (MC) has clear goals, and her antics make me laugh out loud. She's incredibly creative in problem-solving.
As for the love interest (ML), I won't spoil it here, but the scene where the MC dies and leaves the world had me torn. The preview showed how the ML coped – it was heartbreaking. You don't want to read it, but once you do, your heartstrings will be tugged. The real-life ML seems like an icy, cool guy, but if he's waking up with bloody spit, there's definitely a problem that needs attention.
Both the system and the MC have a knack for humor, they'd make a fantastic comedy duo on stage.
In conclusion, give this novel a read and let your emotions run deep.

It's not a bad series, quite the contrary, I actually find it quite enjoyable. The story revolves around Louie, a reborn human who becomes a dragon and assumes the role of the dragon god. As he grows and gains strength, his character develops a divine and majestic pride. His tastes evolve, becoming more refined, and his ambitions become more substantial.
Most of the series reads well, with his indulgences being understandable given his divine and dragonic nature, and having a harem isn't too much of a stretch. However, there's a glaring issue: the Earth chapters. They feel like poor quality writing that detracts from the main storyline. Initially, they served a purpose, introducing the protagonist's connection to Earth, but as the series progresses, they become unnecessary fillers.
For instance, a spoiler follows:
The protagonist visits Earth, reveals magic, establishes a magical school, and manipulates events to gain global faith. As a god, one might expect him to utilize his powers more subtly, like creating miraculous events. Instead, he chooses to create a tangible institution, which seems unnecessary for gaining belief. A few demonstrations of power would have sufficed.
"It's still too early to make a definitive judgment, but I'll give it a 5-star rating to boost its visibility. This is a typical Korean novel where the protagonist is reincarnated into a minor character. The main character adopts a passive approach, similar to many others, aiming to avoid major figures and simply survive. However, the unique aspect lies in the protagonist's skills, which inevitably attract their attention. Just six chapters in, and he's already at the center stage, both among his peers and influential individuals. Although he may appear passive, I believe this dynamic won't persist.
The pacing might seem rapid, but it's executed effectively. The characters are engaging, and the world is intriguing. Despite the initial passivity displayed by the MC, hints of a strong side emerged within the first six chapters, leaving me hopeful for further development.
If you enjoy:
- Harem stories
- Villainess tropes
- Yandere or sweet and possessive characters
- Romance elements
- Action-packed scenes
- And well-executed reincarnation novels with a Korean twist (so far)
I recommend giving this a try."
As an avid reader, "The Birth of a Ghost Overlord" captivated me with its intricate narrative and unexpected twists. The protagonist's transformation from a humble beginnings to a formidable figure was both compelling and thought-provoking. The blend of supernatural elements and political intrigue kept me hooked till the very end. It's a rollercoaster of emotions, where the line between good and evil blurs, leaving readers pondering long after the final page. A must-read for those who crave immersive storytelling.
