So is it inconclusive? Or is it just boring? I too dislike bad endings. No matter how good a book is, if it has a bad ending, for me, makes the book just as bad.
Honestly, this tale can be considered a guilty pleasure. Different readers may have contrasting reactions; some might adore it, while others might find it unsettling. If you approach it with high moral expectations, it might not resonate well with you. The author occasionally pushes boundaries, particularly with the young characters, which could be a point of contention.
Regarding the yandere element, I'd say the story doesn't excel in that regard. It might fall short compared to other yandere-themed stories I've read. However, upon reading, you might perceive the main character (MC) as more yandere-like than the male lead (ML). Just be prepared to lower your moral compass a bit while enjoying this story.
I am thoroughly enjoying the narrative thus far and eagerly anticipate the upcoming chapters. The storyline begins a year after the protagonist, Yinyue, departs from her lady, Xiao Yuluo. Before her departure, Yinyue successfully wins Yuluo's heart, with occasional flashbacks that beautifully illustrate their past relationship, without overwhelming the story (just the right balance). The tale is divided into two distinct parts.
The first part focuses on the delightful, lighthearted, and romantic bond between Yinyue and Yuluo, which I find particularly enjoyable.
The second part delves into serious matters, including cult-related intrigue and thrilling action sequences. The chemistry between the two main characters is captivating, almost as if their connection was fated.
I must commend the translator, Little Tangerine, for their exceptional work. Their translations are swift, crisp, and convey the story exceptionally well, making it easy for readers to visualize and immerse themselves in the tale.
While the genre might not appeal to everyone, those who appreciate heartwarming and cute romances should definitely give this novel a try.

Yuluo exhibits a charming possessiveness, not the intrusive kind, but rather a protective affection towards Yinyue, cherishing and caring for her.
On the other hand, Yinyue initially appears aloof, but when it comes to Yuluo, her demeanor transforms entirely, showing a complete 180-degree shift in her feelings. Despite knowing Yuluo's intentions, she allows her lady's actions, hinting at a deep emotional connection.
Lastly, an update: Volume Two has significantly improved in terms of writing, maintaining its wholesome and humorous tone.
And another update: The ending is a satisfying conclusion!
