In a softer, more conversational style:
"Set as a standalone sequel to Nanny and the Alpha Daddy, Ella Morgan ventured into this perilous city with aspirations of independence, away from her affluent Alpha family. As a new lawyer, she faced challenges and was often assigned menial tasks, yearning for the day she'd encounter her soulmate. Little did she know, that soulmate would come from the city's most powerful mafia clan.
He suddenly asked, "Are you an Omega or a Beta?" I furrowed, surprised by the question. "Why not an Alpha?" He gestured towards a tear in my sleeve and my simple attire, "Even if you pretended, I could see through your true nature."
Curiosity piqued, I inquired, "And what would that be?" Tilting my head, I awaited his reply. He let out a derisive snort, "Plainly put, a peasant."
The scent hit me like a familiar memory – one I couldn't ignore. It couldn't be, I thought, swallowing hard as I slowly turned to face the figure standing by the window, bathed in the room's glow.
"Miss..." He turned, allowing the light to reveal his features. Recognition flashed in his eyes, his posture straightening, and a subtle tremor in his voice betrayed his surprise. "Miss Morgan. Good evening."
Great story, I was really impressed until... the sudden change from chapter 100 to no updates to suddenly we're at chapter 250... and it's at their wedding reception it seems... did I miss something ...
