For the vast majority of authors in China, they get paid based on each word written. So, what happens is after the first 100 or so chapters they get recognized and sign some publishing deal that doesn't pay the bills unless they add a bunch of useless, pedantic b*llsh*t.
Sad, really. Then again, you and I read for free so it's not like we have any ground to stand on for our complaints.
I also dropped the novel at first a bit earlier than you but the later chapters are very good. You need to witness the rise of Black Star and his domination over the whole galaxy. It gets better and amazing. Also many novels have the issue where ending is bad, but here the ending was good - not rushed. It gets better and it ends well. Just a very good novel.
Brother just one question does these next novel take place in virtual reality or they are permanently in the game World?

Reading this is like a torture if you're not enjoying the virtual story much. This made me look forward more at the real life story of the MC because of his mysterious history, but the problem is the pace of the story is too slow. They are sometimes showing about the possible background of Lin Le or sacrifices of the MC for his love, but oh well, the plot is good really, but the progress of the story is the problem for me.
Read Mech Touch Novel. If you are still a new to the genre, ignore mine. Or, you may like LOTM, HOUSE OF HORROR, LET ME GAME IN PEACE, GOURMET OF ANOTHER WORLD. These are the following which I liked in the past. You can try it if you like. Hehhebd
I must say I'd love a prequel going through the events of the dragon demon war.Would be even more sad and heart wrenching.Rest you magnificent arch mage
so far at 70 chapters in this is really solid, good power structure, nothing over done, and everything even the magic has a sense realism, first 20 to 30 chapters was rather slow bit once he starts building the family things get interesting real fast, and it seems like the author knows this sense he made it free till chapter 53, I recommend giving it a shot till the pay wall at least then see if you like it, but chances are if you get to it you won't want to stop
