This novel is the definition of “if you’ve seen it once you’ve it a million times”. There’s so little originality that it’s honestly shocking how it’s so popular on here. The only logical explanation is that the people who can read this and actively enjoy it are people who have barely read any chinese LN, maybe like 3 or 5 tops. The cliches are so rampant in this novel even I feel second hand embarrassment for the author. It’s literally one of the most predictable novels I have ever read. If you think something is gonna happen then it definitely will. Idk how this could have even been fun to write? He has added literally NOTHING new or original. NOTHING! If you think another arc where the Mc has to hide his identity is coming then guess what your correct! If you think a time skip is coming than guess what, you won’t be disappointed! It’s honestly sad that this novel gets so much attention when actual original content doesn’t. He couldn’t even break the 3 year time skip limit that most of these LN authors seem to keep as a standard lool. If your looking for unoriginality, boring side characters, boring plot, and overall disappointment than look no further “God of slaughter” is the LN for you!

It's a bit challenging to my worldviews, since the author refuses to give us a magical reasoning, but. If you look past that, the novel's pretty cool.There's a few mistakes here and there, but it's not like the author's bad at english, they're just casual mistakes.Anyhow, looking forward to the new chaps.
The story is just another face slapping story disguised as trying to be enlightening. that is still fine but what I couldnt accept that for a monk that posses otherworldly power, still it coulndt escape the trope everyone is ganging up on china, and being racist to them. if you want to read a story of a racist monk, here you go. a monk teaching that should transcend humanity made up patriotism and nationalism, a religion that about soemthing more than just race and even species become a story about a patriotic monk that only enlighten China. I guess Buddha only favor the chinese. the earlier chapter is fine and I held hope for this story. but then come the mandatory korean or japan people being a dick and racist to chinese for some reasonThis is a self mastubatory piece for China
It’s a typical Chinese novel reinforcing all the Modern Chinese culture and their sneering all over. And BINGO! a Chinese auth hating Japanese, portraying them as evil. Frankly I just don’t like the idea of political hate creeping into any book that’s not historical book. Especially fantasy novels. By the amount of “Chinese medicine” solving anything plot armour throws at MC, his silence till all the side characters fill up the exposition and everyone’s sneering, short fused temper( not the Chinese novel temper, calm, deep, vigorous, spring, autumn, distinguishing gratitude, not being servile not overbearing, sharp eyebrows, and massive hard on for betting at every plot cliche) it repeats all over again. But when I saw auth bringing in Japanese to make them steal their military data, sure, the japs really need it. Anyway, you can read it to increase lethargy.

A minute of your time if you please. The reviews talking about the stupidity of the main character and plot armor in the earlier chapters is true. The reason I am not re-writing them is because i don't want to change things and then the later chapters are filled with plotholes. I am not asking for you to drag yourself through those chapters, if you can't take that stuff, then my advice to you is not to waste your time. Seeing as this is my first novel, I would like to think that my writing will get better over its course. This review is just to ward off less tolerant people, instead of them reading the novel and leaving a permanent negative review about something that I am working/have already worked on in the later chapters. I welcome criticism if it will help me improve my writing skills, but having the rating of my novel lowered because of a situation that is being solved/already been solved is just depressing. Author, what happened? Like why u stopped with your work?? I can swear this the best ATG fanfic i have read so far. The fast pace is just right, which allows Itachi to avoid all those cliches and complicated life that Yun Che lived in the original novel. Yes, as a fanfic, tis just smooth that you change the plot like avoiding those pathetic tournaments. Itachi is just doing things the way i like, thankfully he got rid of Yun che’s influence on him quickly, regaining his Cold, ruthless, caculative personality and avoiding many calamaties. But the Chapters are to short! What a pity. I searched and try reading other ATG fanfics hoping to find something similar to yours but unfortunately i was utterly disappointed as all the others are either about comedy, harem seekers and heroes or following the same original plot even if they didn’t seize yun che body to reborn,it was quiet irratating coz they was nothing serious like yours. I hope u can continue and don’t drop it completely.
You can't be enemy of the world and expect to have a good ending without killing off everyone, when a novels start with the prompt of enemy of the world that means no matter what they do they will always be hunted they can never have a family and it can take up to 400 chapters before things get better or even a glimmer of hope for a happy ending appears if at all, read the first 10 chapters I can't go on seen to many like this.
