I stared at him and listened in. He planned to end it with that but the silence had made him feel compelled to finish.
As if in a different, featherweight body, Lados turned his eyes to the sky. Blue-gray reigned as far as sight could reach. White, fluffy clouds journeyed in the gaseous sea, riding the waves of the wind. He stood there watching them shape shifting, expanding, forming and dissipating along their voyage. An unknown impulse urged him to focus on the mountains. He couldn't make out where the feeling welled from, but to him, it felt like a calling tickled his ears with its sweet, yet persistent melody. Was the Ox calling for him? He was indeed a man of the mountains, born in the confined plateau of Perrevi. Were its spirits in the know? Legends said, the crests of the Mountain Range used to be dragon dwellings, the ultimate protectors of the realm. Were the legendary dragons calling him? Did they even exist?
"Yeah," Mel said, not even trying to hide the fact. "Thanks to you! Tell you what, I'll drop the bet for your help!"
Forget about being a mother and son, she came here prepared and with bravery, I can't be a biatch and let her down
One of the best, if not the best, stories I've ever read in the fantasy department. The author does well to incorporate many elements into the story without going overboard. The character development is brilliant. Definitely up there with my favorites.
No worries, i wont drop this novel
Change the title mate someone already got don't wanna get this novel removed.... Or change the title to "the ultimate system" something like that. I like the story thou
Unwillingly, he pressed a levitating monitor to report. "Vanguard Alpha 20 reporting. Requesting for assistance from the other squadrons. Our squadron had been reduced to--"
Finn felt all the world spin and he felt his body heavy and it was not responding. He did not know why he was on the foor but he knew he had to stand up fast but his body was not responding.
I love the characters so far especially Hollow's personnality and his mysterious identity. The story looks very original and i really like the mix between sci-fi and ancient Babylon.
If you are heavily into scifi novel, this is fantastic story to read. Outerspace, ships, and adventure. i highly recommend this if you have the time. I especially enjoyed the ai ships personality.
The story has a great concept, but the writing and characters fall short. The execution lacks depth and fails to bring the idea to its full potential, resulting in a mediocre experience despite the promising premise.
