The work is simply sublime!Lyra is the best character, too bad she left us early, but she never let us down!The author is to be congratulated, job very well done.I know the story is good when I feel part of my soul leaving with its ending, the ending is also perfect!My thanks to the author.I will miss Lyra, Ameria, Milliandra and Aleni.My only sadness is not seeing Aleni's children.
It has some fun moments, many moments to make you worry. Knows how to make characters feel in situations making them instantly more believable.
I am thrilled to have followed this amazing story from its early days until the very end. It was the perfect escape from reality, and I eagerly awaited each chapter's release. The characters in this story were so well-written and developed that I felt like I really got to know them and cared about what happened to them. The plot was well-paced and kept me engaged throughout the entire story. I never felt like it was dragging or that things were moving too quickly.The world-building was fantastic. The intricate details that the author included really helped me to visualize the setting and immerse myself in the story. This story had a great balance of humor and serious moments. I appreciated how the author was able to make me laugh one minute and then have me on the edge of my seat the next.The cliffhangers were well-placed and kept me on the edge of my seat, but never felt like they were overdone. The ending was so satisfying and tied up all of the loose ends. I felt a sense of closure when I finished the last chapter, but also a sense of longing for more of this amazing story. Overall, I would highly recommend this story to anyone looking for a great read. Thank you to the author for taking me on an awesome journey.
This is really the very first cultivation novel where MC is neither power hungry nor intent on face slapping nor judgemental of other people. He hasn't even killed anyone! And he never went around stealing stuff while claiming that he was the only good person around. The most hilarious parts are those where everyone acts like typical cultivation novel people do and then he comes and treats them like an ***** would delusional teenagers.Like... Cultivator a: You did not give me face! I will murder you for dishonoring me!Cultivator b: I won't give in! I will show you the power of whatever sounds mystical and impressive!MC (slightly annoyed): Brawls are forbidden in the store. Please go outside if you want to fight. If you don't stop you will be stripped and kicked out.Cultivator a: How dare you! Do you know who I am?Cultivator b: How dare you ignore this great me? *Tries a surprise attack on C. b**C. a dodges and tries to destroy furniture but fails*Then Whitey strips both and kicks them out while MC goes back to the kitchen to cook for his dog.

I love reading this book out of all the books I'm reading.
The pacing here is honestly insane. We go from 'I almost got killed' to 'let's be roommates and buy cat mugs' across four chapters and it works because the author never lets the tension sit still. Chapter 4 starts with the most dangerous moment—two killers in a room, one deciding whether to retire—and immediately pivots to domestic logistics. Who sleeps where, who takes the softer blanket, who does the dishes. The shift from life-or-death to 'you're on trash duty' is so abrupt it's hilarious, and it keeps you reading because you never know which tone is coming next. Then there's this beautiful rhythm of tension and release. She stares at him in the dark, her combat instincts flaring, he asks if something's wrong, and then drops the 'I will protect you' line. Boom. Released. Then immediately—next morning, convenience store, restocking shelves. The mundane snaps back in like a rubber band. The cliffhanger energy is more subtle here. It's not 'will she live?' but 'will this weird domestic arrangement actually hold?' And the author knows exactly when to pull the thread. Like when she brings up the conglomerate still being alive and Oda immediately catches the hint. That's a pacing masterclass—raising the stakes without breaking the cozy mood. Some parts drag slightly (the internal monologue about retirement funds gets long), but honestly I was too invested to skip anything.

Alpha Loren is good loads of confusing bits tho needs to be re read but if you can figure bits out it’s good
More drama however not as pitiful but more easy to read!
