Chapter 1 establishes the setting, the threat, the betrayal, and the rebirth all within a few thousand words. Then Chapter 2 drops the spatial artifact reveal and Chapter 3 introduces the cultivation system. That's three major plot milestones in three chapters and none of it feels rushed because every scene is doing double duty—advancing the plot AND deepening character. The subplot of the other kidnapped girls adds texture without slowing things down. Wang Bing dragging a girl away for the night is a brutal reminder that time is running out. But here's what I'm wondering: the bead chose her blood to activate, and there's a sword inside that rejected her because she's too weak. Is the sword going to be a companion entity, or just a power-up? And what's the deal with Wan Wanxin never using this sword in the previous life—does that mean the bead was dormant for her, or that she simply didn't know how to unlock it?
