The official successor to Bokujo Monogatari is Story of Seasons. The HM Lights of Hope is no longer bokujo. SoS may be another outlet of inspiration for you.

I read it up until it's 'Finale not finale chapter' and liked it, unfortunately the author didn't really finish it. He wrote fairly far into the story but at some point decided to drop it(for health? work? lack of interest? lack of money flowing in?) when realistically it was more than halfway done. The 'Finale not finale' chapter lays out the rest of the story in almost bullet point form so you at least know he had a rough plan for the rest.I really liked it too, and at least it wasn't fully dropped...but still!
Too many unnecessary and redundant explanations that takes up more than half of the chapters........................................... 1 star

Turned out to be just another generic novel. Don't waste your time. Only dull, boring, monotonous, repetitive text. There are no plot, no conflict, no development. MC is extremely overpowered, his disciples are extremely overpowered. All storytelling is about MC spouting some vague random nonsense, his disciples will make breakthroughs, MC will get a rise in level, repeat million of times. Nothing else.
Not very interesting. This is similar but worse than great Doctor Ling Ran. The MC is manipulated and is a pushover. The system is not very interesting. System is used as a reason for his fast growth but the systems functions are not very interesting, it is Just explained that the system teachers mc, there are no missions, no system stores or anything.
Well, since mostly everyone who hasn't even read the book seems to be giving it 5 stars, I guess I'll make a comment on how disgusting, inconsistent and outright infuriating this MC and novel in general seems.From what I've read(other peoples' thoughts) the MC is a horny little **** who seems like the type to ***** over his own faults, then get free stuff thrown at his lap, in order to make the novel as appeasing as possible to all those sad, horny fucks out there.It's probably one of those no-brain, no-personality harems where no girl sticks around for longer than a few chapters, after which she's just a part of the ****fest once in a while, and no girl really has any personality whatsoever. Nor do they have any personality flaws.This is one novel I'll never read, don't be fooled by the "C31" I'm no on that ch, I just happened to click on it as this novel was updated.

Fck is annoying AF the MC is fcking annoying the side b!tches I mean side characters are useless AF and their personality is sh!t the whole background story is fcking trash story doesn't fcking move goddamn like seriously guys you can start reading this and after 3 chapters y'all will find this story annoying then when you're reading more and more y'all will be thinking ohh my be the story will improve but noo is still a ****tier story fck I can't read this sh!t thx for the hard work to the translators but fck no the story y'all pick to translate was this ****tier story thats too bad...
