TL;DR - great premise, ******* execution.I agree on "hidden gem" assessment with other reviewers. This novel definitely stands aside from many cookie cutter xianxia on this site.As for genre, I'd say it is a xianxia/mystery with a slight transmigration twist. Now, is the novel good? I am... rather conflicted. On one hand, I read all the 60 chapters available in one sitting and am even so impressed I am writing this review, so its definitely not trash. On the other hand I find myself not adding the novel to my library - after getting a solid taste of what is it like I am just not very exciting for the next chapter.Writing quality is average. It could be the author is just trying to imitate (poorly written and translated) xianxia novels, and this is causing his own prose to be generic and uninspiring. It definitely has that cultivation aftertaste - phrases like "boundless heavens
I have not read this novel.. but i have already given it 5 star. I have read your previous novel and found it really good..Dude how do could u write 2 novels at once? I mean.. it takes me 2 hr to write one.. and i am only doing fanfiction. Do u only make a living from these novels or do u also work on other things.. cause i cannot seem to comprehend u doing other work. How do u manage time? Give me some tips
The story follows a really typical format for back to the past cultivation stories. MC was the supreme god, he was translating or reading some tablet that pushed him back to the past.MC is back to 2018 earth year but is on his original planet, he had been sent to earth by some mad cultist before but he's on his original cultivation world and plans to avoid earth. The story follows the typical upscale fights, bead up a kid, his parents come knocking, kill them. Some kids throw shade on you, kill them. Some sick rich guy comes, cure and take his belongings. Just the usual stuff, his distant family is a piece of sh*t so we can expect him to fight some level 1 or 2 then it goes to the level 3 uncle or whatever then the level 4 comes to take revenge. I'm sure it can even end up with him vs the country's strongest level 5 why not? Well that's all typical cultivation novel MC is also an Alchemist and a Healer and every profession possible god probably. Also he's a slaughter fic MC he's kind of crazy. Some guy blocks his way and taunts him so be cripples him, some girl throws shade on him so he threatens to kill her, some grieving family comes so he kills the 18 generations. It's that slaughter fic kind of story. Lol.
Feels like I've read the beginning somewhere before....Anyways, I don't mind that this has a system. Although the fact that an mc can't be evil without some stupid sad background annoys me.Edit: sadly, the author often steps into the same pitfalls that chinese authors do. If he had a bit more insight and originality, this could've been way better. For example, why does he decide to use the sword (before even seeing that he's talented at it) and why is he even talented at it? Literally every generic chinese novel protagonist and their mother uses a sword. Can we not at least get something original like a spear, a glaive, a knife, an axe, etc etc. There are so many weapons, yet you have to choose the most overused one. Or, for example, chasing short term benefits with a risk instead of being slightly slower, yet much safer. The mantra is "never think ahead" for these people. There are just so many missed opportunities with these chinese novels written by non-chinese people. They always fear to take any risks, which results in their novels being as generic as the chinese ones. While RI's protagonist is actually intelligent, this novel's mc just pretends to be, and I think this is because the mc can only be as smart as the novel's author.

the story flow nicely although the harem character can be quite annoying but i can't stop reading it...need more chapterssss, waiting for this novel to be pick up soon
Trash. There are so many unnecessary details for things we don't need to know and absolutely no detials about the stories she enters. And I don't mean that it's not fleshed out, I mean there is NOTHING. Nada. The author just occasionally mentions things like she studied maths while she was in the book then continues with bull**** about the writing that the class monitor left on the board (in her real life). There is so much unnecessary bull**** about things that add nothing to the plot or setting that I skipped a chapter but the author was still going on with their nonsense. And no, it's not things that might matter in the future, it's just nonsense. The author spent half a chapter talking about how the kids stack up books on their desks to hide behind when they sleep during class, THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The only reason I read this book was to see her inside the books!!!!!!!!
It's like him and his little sister in... a huge drug trip. Very trippy. I don't even know if this is worth reading.. Lol.Honestly, only times I see plots like these executed well would be in JPs.
This book is amazing with story develpoment and design with good Pacing making me want more. It makes me impatient and just want there to be more chapters.
