So, I was browsing and I came across this gem out of nowhere. And while it may not be perfect, it's way better than most of the original novels here. It's interesting and I read it all in one sitting. Give it a chance, I'm sure it won't disappoint.

So this is my review about this novel, well my first time reviewing about something really. First i read until chapter 19 and i'm not going to talk about this novel writing quality since English itself wasn't my first language. Now let's talk about it shall we first of the MC. I kinda have a weird feeling about the MC, if i have to say it "it work but doesn't make sense" first of all the MC is a dropout and a failure, in chapter 9 in the comment box the author describe the MC as a depressed and suicidal shut-in. but the way i see it the MC is not a depressed dude nor he is a shut-in if he is a depressed dude and a shut in he's definitely won't be able to talk to the police officer, hell the moment he sees the officer the dude will definitely either have an uncontrollable breathing or running somewhere and definitely he won't be able to think clearly and will definitely have a panic attack or something and he's probably going to have a hard time communicating with his roommate. And i can say this, because as an experience depressed man if i'am in a situation where something unexpected happened i'll definitely have a panic attack especially if the first thing i heard someone called me pervert and there's a police officer running to me. truth to be told The way i saw him personally he's not a depressed men he's more of a drug addict. Reason i used to have a friend that do drug, and the MC reminded me of him, that dude lack any personal reason, or ambition always follow the wave the only personal distinction that differ from other is that he's more prone to violence and lust, so i can see it in MC, it's more similar to him than a depressed dude or a shut-in one. That's why in my mind i deleted anything about the MC desc and i created my own backstory version of MC where he's a drug addict because he's a drug addict his college life ruin his parent abandoned him he lost everything the MC then become a dealer go to jail then get released after that he's find that life as an ex-criminal is really hard he wasn't able to get a job and he realized he's getting old and then he felt suicidal and try to kill himself only to be transported in another world. Well that or someone or something crammed someone else memory into the MC that's why the MC doesn't have any distinct personality since the MC itself is a being that came from nothing in the first place. sorry author only after i created that in my head can i move-on with your story, because i felt there's something wrong with the MC flexible personality. Okay next the other character the female police i enjoy both of them Sarah and Yumi Sarah have a rebel personality while Yumi kind of big sister type i don't want to go into detailed but the two of them have a more distinct personality than the MC. Now the boss or Claudette not much known since her introduction with MC kinda brief but i suspect the author gonna make her into one of those old lady that tough but her brain fill with desired to get married but that's my theory. Now onto the roommate, i'm sorry author but i'am gonna say this the roommate for me their whole existence is to glorified the MC, yap a fitting side character to glorified the MC i mean sure there's no plot hole because the author make the MC have Level 100 Charm/charisma but i mean it's their first time meeting you know, i mean the MC is a new student he's also a beginner in VR game, instead of the Roommate bow to anything the MC said shouldn't they have a feeling of trying to impress the MC instead since you know High school pride?? (i meant that since the roommate had been in the school longer than the MC). and it's more make sense since in the beginning the MC hasn't showed any leader like ability. but then again this is my personal taste i like the other character but yeah not the roommate. but for reader out there that read this don't worry. The author try to flesh out more of the character, i see some growth and change here and there and i expected in the future more character will be fleshed out. but then again, i'm also worried since there's so many new character, i don't even remember half of them. I really hope the author focused more on fleshing out more character instead of introducing more. Sometimes Small cast are better than a lot of cast i mean try reading release the witch without character wiki page.Next World Background all i can say is all i know is that the world call Midgard it's the same as earth. There's VR also the MC roll in an academy that teach special people (wanderer) in Tokyo. Politic, History, Culture hasn't still fleshed out yet.Finally Plot. The only thing i can say about this is that it's a mess. Reason i still don't know what the hell the plot going to be about, or where this is going. First i thought it was about how to grow as a god or the intricacy life of a god and those affected by him. Since the synopsis felt like it's about character growth. then i read it, and after a couple of chapters i thought "oooh it's not about growth then is it about taking over stuff, or trying to be rich, or something like overlord " since the MC literally a GOD then the MC going to the academy i thought "ok is this novel going to be like 'to be a power in shadow'" then no since the MC to not a manipulative or liar type and then the VR came. i hit my desk and think yappppppp i don't know where the hell this is going anymore and to make it worse the author state and i quote "Little did I know at the time, that this game would end up shaping my destiny, and bring me powerful allies and enemies." OK THEN THE NOVEL ABOUT OVERGEAR ON DRUG AND THE MC IS A LITERAL GOD!! that's what i think after that thankfully the author eat some candy and make the game stuff over and i say "fyuhh thank you" buttt the author don't let me down yet nononononono. i read a couple chapter and guess what next....? uhuh you guess. It FICkINGGG SINGING and idol "ALL HAIL AKB VAMPIRE GOD YAHOOOOOOOO DAADYY KISS MEE PLEZZZ!!!" at this time i don't know am i the one on drug or the author eat something weird but i'm looking forward for the MC to become a shining idol that beacon life to all living form in the world and show his white blessing to the undeserving "ALL HAIL THE MC DADDY CYANIDE" then i pray i pray hoping for the original plot to came back when i lose all hope it came "it came back? the school chapter came back!!?" i shout then i remember everything came back to me he's still a minor and a student suddenly a white liquid squirt to me. Then i realized this novel make me reach the apex of humanity i reach enlightenment cover in white hot stuff i threw away my pill after that i spread my hand and stand on one leg after that i read again and saw the roommate become gay and two vampire also become gay i have found it the answer i make my self bald and opened google and type ***.vampireXroommateXclydeXme.com "i found it" i smile "lord Clyde had shown me the way" i shout while doing the T pose. Chapter 18 My lord cynide ascend he's finally ascend to the throne i pray once again to my lord cynide "DADDY" I scream hoarsely, i pray once a gain but before i can pray again. I'm shook. In front of me i saw it a man that look like my past self dancing fortnite default tauntingly, i fight it but only to find myself getting possessed "NOOOO" i scream "you're mine boy" He said "LORD CYN-DE" I Scream painfully. Chapter 19 I'm Back it look's like the Baldmen has died now let's just jump into the overall shall weConclusion: the character need some rework especially the MC right now the MC felt like a hollow being instead of an ex-human if you're going with this route in the future then i retract my statement. side character especially male need rework i find the roommate as of chapter 19 to be a yes men instead a Best friend please make them say no instead yes all the time. like WTH they wanted to sold their humanity to join some weird dude that they just met. Need a little bit infodump example money in the novel the MC state that ooh 2000 yen is this much in dollar i mean different world different kind money price you know like inflation and what year it is. I think if the MC say "i just google it it say 2000 it's this amount in $" will fix the issue another thing in the game where the MC surrounded by 200 kobold from nowhere he know about the kobold its structure also kobold king if you make the party member that say it instead will make it beliveable since they have played it longer it also created more personality for his best friend plot it really need to be consistence about what you wanted to make either game singing plotting or harem as of chapter 19 i can see that you mix it together but i believe you should hadn't done that you should give that to other character to make them more distinct instead and make the MC focus on other thing instead. this novel is not for me because i'm into edgy thing and what i mean by edgy like really f@%k up world. You're novel definitely for casual reader it's not my piece of cake but thanks for letting me read it. For those that read this review try read this novel, sure at first it hard to swallow. but the author keep improve it's plot even myself keep changing my review at every chapter because how distinct its improvement from the last chapter.but at the end of the day it's your work author will you read my review or not it's your choice all i can say is that don't let other decided which path is the best for your novel. Just enjoy it and write to your heart content

The writing is really good, the style is in 1st person...the story is really interesting with unique characters with unique personality....i like hit,,,i recommend others reading it.

What about Undead type Monster? Thats too much monkey i think, But there is no monkey d luffy or monkey d garp lol . I suggest to add some monster like Undead or something.
Finished the novel.MC's space reminds me of Lord of Mysteries and Museum of Deadly Beasts. It's fast paced for people who like blood rushing vibes. Was quite a good mystery & investigation & undercover & battle novel up to some point, even though MC was full of godlike cheats (they are explained at the very end).The novel started detoriating real fast once the plot of eastern jurisdiction was over. The novel can be said to be good mostly up to this point. In final notes, author admits that ,,it collapsed in the middle and late stages, which also greatly affected my creative passion and confidence" as well as ,,the more I write, the less I feel".After the plot of eastern jurisdiction, the chapters are a mess, everything feels so rushed and braindead, author skips many interesting and possible plots and dealings with characters, ugh, it's very anti-climatic.As for MC himself: he is not that likeable. Quite a psycho with twisted morality, lots of abilities are very dark. With all the cheats and power he has, he definitely didn't need to bloodbath so many characters, or when he knew the truth, he could just drop his petty reasoning at getting at them. And he sure is greedy for women...I have just learnt that one of the author's older books is actually "I'll Add Points to All Things". I digged into it years ago, and completely dropped at chapter 297. It was worse than current novel, it had promising start, but as far as I can remember it collapsed much earlier, while psycho MC among other things like rac... killed it.Anyway, have fun reading!

Hello, Author of Project Overworld here!Just to let you all know that this story is currently indefinitely paused (I got myself a job and I'm only doing some writing in my free time now).I haven't brought myself to set the state of this story into "Completed" yet since I feel like the ending is a bit rushed and there are some ideas worth investigating for a potential sequel.In any case, I had a wonderful time writing and releasing this novel on this website, so much so that writing became one of my favorite hobbies out there.I hope you all will enjoy reading Project Overworld if you are new to it, or other wonderful stories if you've already reached the ending point of my novel!
