gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood
Super awesome plot, wise MC and evil development with a pretty impressive picture of being overpowered, n . . bb .. .
While it isn't perfect, this is a better example of the trope of using future knowledge to your benefit. What really makes it stand out is the protagonist doesn't care if his actions change outcomes and in facts welcomes changes as opportunities to be exploited. It sometimes suffers from a little deus ex machina where he conveniently finds the design he needs or stumbles upon a treasure that helps him in his next encounter. The solutions he comes up with and his unorthodox methodology are enjoyable though. It also doesn't appear to be written off the cuff as there is evidence of foreshadowing and links back to earlier characters and story that show there is at least some planning behind it. Author doesn't conveniently forget about things just because it happened 40 chapters ago.
Havent finished because i dont have money but the free chapters i get here and there i live ready this story just wish i had money to continue are more ways to earn full reading story instead of one chapter at time
so interesting,love
I just finished the book!! it was such a great read and so addictive. is there going to be a book 2?
This book is quietly tackling some heavy themes and I'm impressed by how it weaves them into what could easily be a light-hearted story about a telepathic child. The biggest thematic moment for me is Mianmian's line: 'Even though we move forward, we must still get revenge. Bad people should be punished.' This is the core tension of the entire narrative — how do you heal while also seeking justice? Gu Xu's mother is dead, her photo was destroyed, and the only keepsake he has is this one photograph Mianmian risked her life to retrieve. He says 'people who die cannot come back... but the living must move forward' and then immediately pivots to 'I must get revenge.' That contradiction IS the theme. The cactus blooming is a small but meaningful symbol — Mianmian's belief and kindness actually makes things grow. She nurtures the living things around her while also being a weapon against the people who hurt her family. She's both gentle and dangerous. And then there's the green hat revelation — Gu Xu's stepmother cheating. The 'green hat' metaphor Mianmian mentioned earlier wasn't just comedic foreshadowing, it's part of a larger pattern of hidden betrayals in this family. Qin Ershen stealing medicine meant for Gu Xu. The original owner of Mianmian's body being afraid of her own brother. Everyone has secrets and everyone is hiding something.
