It's quite unbearable being punished cause of a conceived misconception which could have been easily corrected.
\\"even in my dreams you wouldn't be my first choice!\\" but guess who came sneaking into Athena's room at night? Trevon baby, you want her too and that mate bond is just too strong, I just hope you stop being a goddamn red flag, but I'll still defend him though, it's an arranged marriage anyway.
wonderful author

this book is just fire
Great story… suspense,hope, love… thank you
I need a minute. I actually need a full minute because chapter 2 just dropped the most devastating emotional bomb and I am not okay. "Su Liang was born before my mother's car accident. It's possible her death is connected to you, isn't it? After she died, you used her inheritance and insurance money to elevate your mistress, and now you're trying to drive your daughter to her death. Even scum wouldn't stoop as low as you..." Su Yin saying this out loud—actually SAYING IT to his face—after spending the entire first chapter absorbing the original host's memories and understanding every single detail of her murder. The original Su Yin died in silence. No one knew. No one cared. And now this transmigrator is taking up space in her body and speaking the truth that was stolen from her. What killed me was the contrast between the original host's personality and Su Yin's. The original Su Yin was so conditioned into submission that she probably never even questioned her mother's death. She just endured. She cooked. She got beaten. She died pregnant and alone and the system described it as "without causing even a ripple of suspicion." A RIPPLE. This woman was erased from her own life. And then there's Su Yin, who reads all this and immediately thinks "isn't that a bit too easy on them?" That line—"Heh." with an ambiguous smirk that doesn't reach her eyes. She's not just fulfilling a mission. She's personally invested. She feels the original host's pain as her own. The rabbit form thing is also deeply symbolic, right? A rabbit—prey animal, timid, soft, fluffy—and she's using it as a weapon. The original host's Benming was chosen by her circumstances (weak, harmless), but Su Yin is going to make it mean something entirely different. "Even a rabbit bites when cornered" isn't just the chapter title, it's the thesis of the whole story. I'm emotionally compromised and I need to read more.
