The scene where he's holding it awkwardly, getting peed on, and just... giving up? "Fine. From now on, you are my son." That's it. He just accepts it. No dramatic speech, no hesitation. Just "okay, you're my kid now." And then the moment Tian Le walks in and Ji Tianyi stops crying? That's when it hit me. This whole bizarre situation is building something. Ji Heng, who's been preparing for the apocalypse alone, suddenly has someone to rely on. Tian Le, who just transmigrated and is terrified, suddenly has a purpose beyond surviving. "I can guarantee that you will survive safely in the coming days." — Big Brother Ji's words to Ji Heng, but honestly, I think Ji Heng is about to become someone's guarantee too. The father-son bond between Ji Heng and Ji Tianyi is already forming in just a few chapters, and the way Ji Heng's entire demeanor softens when he's holding that baby? Chef's kiss. I'm already emotionally invested in this found family nonsense and we've barely started.
