Just want to cry. It’s been months since part 1 ended and all we have is 3 chapters of part 2 so far. I’ll keep checking back though, won’t start reading it until it’s almost finished, can’t stand being left hanging on a chapter and San’s books are all so awesome you get addicted.

When she claims the soup and finishes it, she's not just winning a social encounter—she's declaring independence from the narrative that defined her. And the internal conflict? This is where it gets layered. Shen Jin tells herself she doesn't care about the Crown Prince anymore. 'Whether he's pleased or not—what's it to me? I'm not marrying him.'
