A slice-of-life book featuring a female lead (FL) who transmigrates back to the 1950s. Her "gold finger," a space always filled with supplies, is casually explained as a family trait and then largely forgotten, only resurfacing when occasionally needed. The FL lives her life in a way that is impressively historically accurate for the era. However, aside from missing air conditioning, she never acts like a modern person, which left me wondering why the author chose this approach.
I gave it 3 stars because the book has very minimal conflict, odd perspective and time-skipping, and is rather boring overall. Despite these issues, it does manage to accurately depict 40 years of turbulent Chinese history.
It’s brief, adorable, and sweet. While it doesn’t have much depth, it was enough to satisfy my craving for light reads. It’s perfect for when you’re not in the mood for anything too complex.
oh then its ok, I think it tries to do too much instead of sprinkling it(plot) but system is just saitama system with some plant stuff(light) seems to change after mc meets bad guys thou(power creep and smth) and haven't read that far(like 70? or a bit more) (others mentioned city building and idk anything abt that )
I've read up until chapter 40. Tell me guys, does it get better? I'm thinking to stop because the way the story narrated feels kinda bland. I mean I get that it's telling from 3rd all-knowing perspective but shouldn't at least we get some inner monologue?

Other than three newer novels, this is the lowest ranking novel. I think I see why though.
Honestly I'm almost done with this novel (I read all of romerus other work so I wanted to try this after putting it off for some months) that's besides the point I don't understand the hate there's some points that you just gotta turn off your brain but those moments are some of the most enjoyable I would say this novel isn't for everyone it may just be for me because I'm a caveman brain (I didn't enjoy lotm) but if you want a good read with tragedy than this is for you (to be honest even with shadow slave only vr has made me do it but this novel made me completely forget my surroundings I was so invested that I forgot what I was doing It's such a amazing novel)

Hey does anyone know any novels where mc hates humans and stays that way. I don’t care if he is human or not but I want him to wage war against humans and be ruthless. I prefer if he leads a nation or army, especially of beasts, Demi humans, or monsters, but anything else is fine as long as it’s where he hates the guts of humans.
