The fact that most of the novel’s information is backed up by the real world is big plus for me cause everything is easier to understand and not much world building is required to immerse the readers. The story is incredible and the basketball matches (at least the notable/relevant ones are well thought out and described which makes it easier to imagine the match itself in my head. I gave the main character a 4 out of 5 as I haven’t seen much of his life outside of Basketball, maybe later we’ll see something about it cause rn there’s still in the NCAA tournament. And one of the best features about the novel is the updates itself. Author dropping 30 chapters in 3 days then 2 per day after is another big plus for me. I definitely recommend this book especially for those who like or are interested in basketball.
There's something deeply symbolic about the entire food arc in these chapters. Cheng Youyou is taking things that other beastfolk would discard or fear—wild boar intestines, bitter tubers, spicy cornelian cherries—and transforming them into something that sustains and even delights. The sausage itself is a metaphor for her entire approach to this world: she takes the raw, the grotesque, the unacceptable, and makes it into something that lasts. "After drying, it smells amazing and keeps for a long time." That line hit me harder than it should have. This is about more than food preservation—it's about her trying to build something durable in a world that's constantly threatening to take everything away. And the tubers? Ji Xuan's trauma around them is devastating when you think about it. He survived on them when he was cast out, a white-furred cub with no tribe, and now Cheng Youyou is offering him something he once ate out of sheer desperation. She has no idea what she's doing, but the gesture is enormous. Meanwhile Zi Wu can't even look at the pig intestines without gagging—his rejection of her cooking is really a rejection of her entire way of seeing the world. The food becomes this battleground for acceptance, for belonging, for whether someone can embrace the strange new things she brings.
It is a great story with great potential !keep at it, author!
Review after chapter 169 - Yes my fav number.Nothing much to say about this story but the early 20 chapters are kind of painful for me to read. Not bad but the inconsistency in early chapters is killing me. It still have some inconsistency but wasn't as bad as beforeMax is honestly pretty annoying but he is fine compared to most of the Harem Protagonist on this site. For the heroines they are good, so I have nothing to criticize about em.Update Stability, It is hella good, consistent and pretty hard for me to catch up. World Building is fine, although it will be more helpful if you goes into more detail about the world. For Grammar, I don't know about this cause English also isn't my first language so It is good enough for me to read and enjoy.
Potential banger. Definitely up there in my opinion to be a future contender in All-Time category just needs to be fine-tuned in some areas... Mainly that status screen issue everything else is my cup of tea though. Great work.
pretty good novel so far but author please re-write the chapters and use grammarly.. there are so many mistakes and the kind of mistakes that if you use even the free version of grammarly it will fix most mistakes.. or maybe even get an editor even though it costs it would be worth it as many will stop reading if the quality doesn't rise

The author is a very talented individual in the art of character design, able to generate long fluid conversations that seem to go on forever which many novels lack.In my opinion, however, that is a flaw. The conversations go on long enough that it starts to give me a headache. The author puts heavy emphasis into the conversations and does not balance it out with the world background. The author does not seem as good with the world background. For example, the prince's castle at the beginning is merely referred to as a "castle" with no additional details. I get a mental image when the term is mentioned, but I get a stale one which has no details.Another example is when the MC is escaping along with her friend, yet most of the writing is down on their conversations rather than their surroundings. In reality, I doubt two people would have the energy to converse when they are fleeing for their life.Other than that, the author does put in the details when it comes to fighting, so props to that. The writing quality is very good and the author does seem to have a direction he/she wants to go in.A personal complaint would be the time skip at the beginning not long after the MC arrives into this world. I feel like a lot of potential was wasted in what could have been invested into character growth. It is like saying the MC survived a life or death situation at point A and then somehow got over it and became stronger in the future at point B.This is merely my opinion however, so just take it as creative criticism. I have not even fully read the novel since I became overwhelmed by the long conversations which take up half of each chapter.
Ahhh! Found this when looking at BTBAB (Author's other story) and I LOVE it! Even though it only has (currently) 4 chapters! Author, thank you for these amazing first couple of chapters and I sincerely hope that you have not dropped this story!
