They have similar lay out, but the different is this novel will talk about monk and monastery in china. The view will make us understand how hard to become a monk, that always smile even the one view u as enemy. Every chapter make you smile and angry when learn how difficult life is.

Been reading this for a few days and it definitely deserves more people reading it since it is a breath of fresh air from the usual novels on here. It's a murder-mystery/detective story but the story is from the perspective of the Killer our MC. Though there are switches in Pov. The chapters are long and the author could definitely chop them up to two or three chapters to gain more leeway in writing it, just saying. But the story is good so far. Would recommend.
I really loved this novel from start to finish.Shang is a very great character
I don't really write reviews since I'm not a writer myself and can't really comment beyond basic factual information in the novel but gave five stars because I don't agree with some people just dropping one star ratings for a novel that isn't that bad. I'll agree this isn't the best novel out there but if you came here your probably just looking for a good to decent novel and that what it is, exactly what you would expect and I don't find a problem with it.
