Dear readers, hello. I am now resuming the updates for this book. Before that, I have made some adjustments and modifications to parts of the plot. The specific changes are as follows:
1. The level of the pact between Alexander and Laura has been changed from 200 to 1000.
2. The form of the Turkey has been adjusted from a dragon to a thunderbird.
3. The name of the top structure in the City of Hope has been changed.
4. Alexander additionally acquires a pair of very powerful eyes.
5. Karu forges a sword for Alexander, but only completes half of it.
6. Some character names have been adjusted and unified.
7. Clichés have been removed to make the reading more fluid.
The story and its scale grew bigger and bigger, and aslo author's missteps. There's a lot of loopholes and "bugs" in the story, characters and routes forgotten by the author and repetitious events, coming up again and again. As chapters went by, I got more and more weary. For the last 600 or so, I had to drag and force myself to finish it. But even so, I suggest it. It was still exciting enough.
The ending, oh the ending, It was HORRIBLE! There was no shadow of the brilliant author who wrote this masterpiece. It was more like a teenage fan fantasizing, creating a childish abomination. Around the last 100 or so chapters, it was obvious that the author was facing a complicated mess, not knowing the way out. With an attitude of getting the novel out of their hair ASAP, they made things up on a whim, unexplained, unrelated, and laughable "facts", just to patch the ending together. It was so cliche, so childish, and so very much disappointing...
For some reason we see mc getting beaten up for no reason. If he is one of the dark races he can even run away from a ruler but when it comes to family drama he gets beaten up by all of them. At this rate I'm going to start thinking that this novel is a waste of time because the balance of power is a complete mess. The novel started with great potential but is moving towards a mediocre path.

Just letting yall know the MC gets NTR'd in this. His woman has s*x with a guy that's trying to kill the MC and he walks in on them f*ck*ng. Idk why the author doesn't consider this NTR but it is.
