Well at the beginning, it is just what you would expect from the cover... honestly I did not even think that this novel will cross 30 chapters..Ah I am so glad that I was mistaken...Well the r-18 part still remains, but the story has a very nicely unfolding plot. Even if some characters (especially those at the beginning of the book) do not have any dimension other than having sex, that surely has changed quite a lot... at least the author puts in more effort to flesh out the girls (especially from the book) than before. To anyone starting new: Bear with it... this novel will slowly turn better. Trust me when I say that there was a time when I would just let it lie in the library and read it only when I wanted to fap to a novel... well, today I have paused reading a few other novels in order to use my free pass here...
This story already has the potential to be my favorite IET story. The MC is the type a guy you'd like as a friend. The world is interesting and the combat is dynamic. Characters are interesting and cliches like dumb young masters or and all that garbage with "face" aren't present.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A good novel, well that's expected from I Eat Tomatoes, what's unexpected is that it's quite different than his other works. Well not totally, it still has the same basic style, concepts and flaws(e.g romance) , but it's in a different frame. It starts in a post-apocalyptc earth and it develops in a solid wuxia sci-fi story. The cultivation system ofc is nicely made, as is the world development, as expected from IET there is a massive "universe" to explore. Finally the translation quality is good and the translaton provides what he pledges.
I don't have high hopes from the translations. 大王饶命 why would someone translate it as "Great Lord" instead of "Great King" or "Majesty"? Plus the original synopsis use "spiritual energy" and not "magical energy". Chinesse novels usually use dharma character followed by qi character for magical energy. Plus the originality of the novel lies in the subtle jokes. So I am skeptical. The translators have a bad habit of using pinyin for cultivation realms or locations as I have seen in Immortal Mortal. They made a lot of mistakes and diverted from author's original intent. So yeah all the best to readers. Btw this novel is #1 in China. It's a good read. I like the humor in it.

Great novel so far, Is a nice read, the main character is well design and i love his involvement with government, politics, money and cultivation, the world is well explained not to complicated, ****** but understandable , in esence the cultivation is different from the clasic novels and is really fresh and more when one get tired of the normal cultivation novels and the cliches.
When I'm reading other novels, I look at the number of pages (on my cellphone) and think "damn, there are still 20 pages".. then I read this novel. I can read 50 pages, but I won't feel exhausted reading it. It's just too damn good.
This is my second review and I´ve currently released about 100 chapters before I even realized it.Time passed so fast, I want to clarify a few things that might have annoyed some readers or caused them to cringe :3The following list might also help new readers to decide whether to read the story or not.1. My native language is not English and unfortunately, my grammar and vocabulary are not perfect [Sorry for that]It might happen that the chapters from 1-60~ have some minor plot-holes/slightly weird character development and the reason for this is quite simple.I started to write this novel without any prior writing experience and in a foreign language at that. If you can´t bear to read a few grammar mistakes and minor overall mistakes it will be quite difficult for you to binge read or follow me on my journey.2. There were some readers that couldn´t help but lament about the MC´s cringe-worthy behavior because he is emotional…Jason is a youth, barely 14 years old, and had to endure a tuff past… character development shouldn´t be over in a single chapter, right?Furthermore, due to his young age, he might act childish sometimes, even though he is used to behave like he already matured.3. I’m sure that the MC will not have a Harem, but most likely a future romance sub-plot.4. My Novel´s name is [God´s Eyes] but in the end, there are also other aspects, helping him to grow stronger.5. The world our MC lives in is labeled “High-Fantasy” for a reason, please don’t try to use normal physical laws, even though I´m trying to make it a little bit realistic.6. The story is unique, yet slow-paced and I did my best to improve my writing quality/style and every critique previously stated, but in the end, I´m just doing it as a hobby, because it´s exciting and interesting.I gave myself 4 stars because I see that I can improve myself further and I hope everyone will give it a try :3 Thanks for reading the review <3
