Woojin is incredibly hilarious! I adore his MC personality and how he presents himself. Just thinking about it brings laughter. The storyline was entertaining, but it did feel repetitive at times, with a subtle pattern – he'd pick up scripts, develop skills, participate in dramas or variety shows, and then surprise everyone while maintaining a composed demeanor. That cycle kept repeating.
However, the character Hong Hye-yeon triggers a cringe response from me. It's just a personal opinion, but there's no spark between them; it feels forced. It's like the author is pushing for a romantic connection, but it doesn't resonate. It's more like a fanboy's infatuation and an actress's delusions about her coworker.
The English translation is clear and engaging, drawing me in effortlessly. But the pacing can be confusing – I often found myself wondering, "Wait, wasn't Woojin still filming?"
In summary, the story is enjoyable, with the main character's misunderstandings providing ample comedy. I love the supporting characters, especially the PDs and directors, who add depth and interest (except for Hong Hye-yeon). At the moment, I'm at a part where the MC's sister is attending a fan event as their leader. For now, I'll take a break (plan to reread starting from chapter 92 since reading until chapter 99 left my brain frazzled), and I'll wait for more updates.
