This is an excellent novel, with each scene vividly portrayed through detailed narration. The pacing strikes a perfect balance - neither too slow nor too fast; it's just the right tempo. I adore the charming and dashing character, Leonel. I'm eagerly anticipating Amelia's escape from the duchy; I find myself more invested in her separation from Raphael, even though I believe it's deserved. I can hardly wait to see Leonel grow up. I sincerely hope the translation continues, and I want to express my gratitude to Tl-nnim for their hard work.
The narrative so far is quite captivating. Unlike other martial arts or overpowered protagonist-centric academy stories, this one delves into a fantasy school setting with a reincarnated author at its core. The interpersonal dynamics between the protagonist and, let's admit, a potential love interest group (though not explicitly designated as such) are intriguing. Surprisingly, there's less of the typical傲娇少爷的套路 than expected. Primarily, it's a romantic tale of school life, which might not appeal to everyone, but personally, I appreciate a good romance, and this book certainly delivers. Oh, and the translator deserves immense praise - they release at least one chapter daily, and they're lengthy, too. The translator is truly exceptional.
good so far i am on chapter 18
the amount of words per chapter is longer than the usual chinese one with thousands of chapter
Haha that summary tho.
Dayum. The last chapter really got me like a fish squirming in the shore, suffocating from the overloading sweetness of Lin Yan and Jing!!!! AHHH-- It's really a good novel! Recommended!
Lin Yan was so witty and cunning too. Jing was a beast but respectful ML ???
I had a good read. Thank you!
My first ever cultivation novel, from like too much time ago, heh.
It's a real shame what happened to this novel, I remember it when it only had like 300 chapters, translation was great and it was one of the best web novels at the time. It's an absolute shame what happened and an absolute insult that it was grabbed by web novel, dropped to an incompetent translator and promptly abandoned due to really poor reception because of the horrendous translation.
The PvP-style IF (Interactive Fiction) with a decent plot has encountered issues. The main character (MC) is portrayed as an arrogant figure, and the narrative suffers from inconsistency. For instance, the number of psychics fluctuates abruptly - initially one, then multiple during an accusation, and later back to one. The MC's physical abilities seem inconsistent too, as they struggle with basic tasks like dressing and using utensils due to hand damage, yet perform tasks requiring greater dexterity effortlessly, like handling pills or lighting matches, and even claims to be a Qigong expert without prior mention.
I'm hoping the translators can address these discrepancies to improve the flow and logic, but I understand their limitations. Since I haven't finished the story, I'll give it a chance later, but my current impression of the main lead is negative. My rating for now stands at 3.5 stars.
